It would have been nice to receive communication about parking, entry procedures, etc prior to our trip. I understand not giving the code out until check in time, but we ended up parking in a rather dicey area because it was not communicated that paid underground parking was available at the building till after check in. It was very confusing as to how to retrieve the key. Also, hand towels in the bathroom should be standard. The price was good, but I probably would not stay here again.
The accommodation was comfortable with an amazing view of the city
The property had an unpleasant odor throughout, and the towels were the worst of all, they smelled terrible. The sofa also had a strong, musky smell that made it uncomfortable to use. One of the beds had an old mattress that sank in toward the headboard, making it difficult to get a proper rest. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and the property did not meet basic cleanliness and comfort standards.
Felix was quickly responsive to any queries. Easy walk to Eaton Centre, Ubers always available within minutes. Great views from the condo.
Good condo, Bad host
This place is fine but it’s not perfect and it could be with very easy changes. The most bizarre experience is that the water pressure is so strong the curtain is sucked in towards the wall of the shower itself. Me and my friends had to use shampoo bottles to keep it stuck to the tub while having a shower.
The other thing is a lack of basic necessities for example, the couch/futon was very small and uncomfortable along with one other bar style chair thats all there is for seating. The kitchen lacked basic cooking tools like a cutting board, or a cheese grater. It had an old worn out pan and some cooking knives that couldn't cut a tomato without sawing it like a piece of lumber.
The baseboards are scuffed up, theres loose outlets, weird operating door lock on the balcony, cheap worn out furniture and beds, loose cupboard doors, and a malfunctioning faucet.
With all that being said, it was a very simple check in process, the place was clean, it has a FANTASTIC view, everything you need is within walking distance, and there are several amazing restaurants close by too. Its also a safe building with 24/hr security at the front desk.
All in all i wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but with some very minimal effort and basic up keep i feel like it could be an even better stay.
10mins walk to the Eaton centre, tram on the corner goes all the way to Kensington market .
Great location to see Toronto .
Clean apartment two bedrooms and powerful shower .
Close to everything walking distance
Everything was perfect
This place was great! Loved that Dundas Station and Eaton Center were easy to get to. As well as the St Lawrence Market, within walking distance.
I just wished they informed us that food deliveries will drop food off at the 5th floor, i got lost the first day but no biggie.
Felix was super helpful as well.
Will definitely book again.
Getting the key is a complicated procedure
I enjoyed the property very much.
Things to know.
1)This is not a hotel, think of it more as someone’s residency you’re renting.
2)To enter the unit you need to get a key from a different location roughly 20min walk or 5min drive away, which also needs to be dropped off at check out.
Aside from having to get a key from a different location I would recommend this place. The view is wonderful, lots to do in the area, reasonable price, full kitchen and washing facility in the unit and lots of sleeping options.
The main problem with this property is false advertising, it’s not a hotel. It’s an apartment in a condo building. You get a text on the day of arrival to tell you that you must pick up the key from a 711 which is 20 minutes walk from the apartment. Terrible when you have luggage. And you have to return the key to the same place after. Clearly the condo association don’t know that they are renting it out because you are warned not to say anything to the front desk. Horrible experience.
Beautiful and so conveniently located, 10 min. walk up the street from Yonge-Dundas Square and Eaton Center. Above-and-beyond hospitable and communicative when I contacted with questions, will definitely stay again!
Placement excellent - Vue à couper le souffle- propre , moderne et tres bien doté- accueil professionnel et efficace de la part de Felix- Merci!!
