Awesome Experience at Monte La Vue
Pros:

This is my second stay at Monte La Vue and as before had an excellent overall experience.
The location is perfect, the rooms and facilities very upmarket and spotless.
The manager (Tanki) and staff were very attentive and made us feel at home.
Will definitely come back again when in Jhb.

Room 20 no blinds/curtains🙁
Pros:

The place was very nice but the widows had no blinds nor curtains. The lights from the passage were too bright in our room. I don’t like sleeping when the lights are on. Told reception the following morning, the came put papers on but it didn’t make any difference. If they were concern about their customers they should’ve arranged another similar room. I didn’t enjoy my 21st anniversary at all. 2 nights of no nice sleep 🙁

The rooms are not bad for self catering or an apartment. But they cannot be advertised as Hotel whereas it is not a hotel. The breakfast was as bad a hell, they put spices on your chips and eggs.You can only be given one egg or if you request to eggs then you get the bread and had to buy one Slice for R10 at a hotel. Fruits are not rinsed and there's no tap to rinse them yourself. The owner was aggressive when I complained about the rooms. The stove wires were exposed and not even isolated. The staff is very friendly well done 👏

Pros:

I loved this hotel, so private and chilled, with well trained staff, the love and care from Monte Lavue hotel is heavenly, the cleanness and freshness of the spacious room. Wow! I sure loved my stay here.

4 Months Stay at Monte La Vue
Pros:

We did not even Miss Home,
I and my 3 friends stayed in this hotel for business purposes. I would recommend Deluxe units to any booker, they are elegantly equipped with all facilities one requires on a long-term basis, washing machines, stoves, ovens, big fridges. Best, they have a long desk with chairs which makes it more comfortable to work from home. The staff was great and although I had one slight booking disaster at the in the restaurant but the resulting apology more than made up for it, I was offered a bottle of wine and spa treatment. I really can't wait to return.

Hotel still under work. Not sound proofed. But service from staff is nice.

Pros:

Stay was lovely. The only downfall is the noise from the roads and the gate to get into the hotel.
Between those 2 it made it really difficult to get some proper sleep. If I can suggest that windows are double glazed to try and cancel out some of the noise.
Also, the room was only made up on arrival. The following day, no one came in to make up the room.
The coffee satchets in the room are Ricoffee and lets be honest. No one drinks that. Try to put better coffee sachet in the room. (Circo, Nescafe, etc...)
