check in was effortless. The reception staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The Spacious rooms were clean and modern. And had everything you could need. Restaurant staff were really happy, friendly and efficient. The food was lovely and the breakfast was top notch! We had a lovely stay.

Window in the room didn’t shut. Eventually got it shut then it wouldn’t open. Air con not working. Reported at reception. Still not working. Parking discount a pain - need to have a code and use the NCP app which if you don’t know in advance you don’t get the discount 😩

Very friendly staff who checked us in early and looked after our bags upon departure. Room was modern and met expectations. Could see the sea which was a bonus. Lots of choice for breakfast.
Bit of a strange route to the room as it was on the 7th floor yet the lifts only go to the 6th.
Great central location with NCP carpark opposite plus hotel discount for parking there. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower.
The check-in process could have been easier. There were no room cards by the self service check-in screen at the reception so we had to interrupt the staff serving other customers at check-in to get some. Also the self service check-in system didn't make it obvious you could just enter the code emailed to us. It defaulted to requiring a QR code that had not been emailed to us. The breakfast was mediocre.
Location - spot on, 30 secs to beachfront but not on the main strip.

Fresh and new
The accommodation was clean and a very good location to access the attractions and shops. Walks along the pier and around the city were enjoyable - Brighton was a great place for families. Perfect place to visit before hitting the busy streets of London.
There were a couple of criticisms about the accommodation - there was a broken lift (one out of three) which didn’t work for the whole stay; and there were no sanitary bags.
Good clean reasonably sized rooms. We needed one with disabled bathroom as we were bringing someone out of hospital following major surgery for a few days before we were allowed to fly home.
Hotel was well situated and within walking distance of the shops and Uber distance of the hospital.
In general the staff were very accommodating but where we are used to being able to charge room service to our rooms, they insisted I put money on credit up front.
I put £100 on as I had two teenagers with me. We used £87.50 of it on room service for one who needed to have dinner in her room. No bill was issued to me at the end of our stay as it was all paid prior, but they tried to over charge me by £192 for one of the rooms then claimed it had been an issue with their system. The small remainder of credit was not returned or even offered back .
Not the fault of the staff but I really did not like the way this hotel chain operates.
Front of House staff couldn't have been more helpful.room was modern and everything they said it would be. Didn't have evening meal however breakfast was great again meet and greet was perfect and the different varieties available were wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit which I hope will be longer next time.

Only 18months old and it was stunning. From arrival to departure, the whole experience was first class.. friendly staff, fantastic location, discounted parking at NCP over the road, superb food and drink options. and great value on top!
