I liked the shower, the location suited our needs.
The room was stuffy even with the window open and I couldn't adjust the temperature because it was locked. Not enough milk provided, poor value for money for the room we had.
Beautiful hotel! Great location
Everything was do it yourself like Check in, check out, room key etc which was fine but it made the lady on Reception seem like they didn’t want to help when we did have a query/need help.
The internet didn’t work to be able to order room service through the QR code or to book breakfast. The evening staff couldn’t book our breakfast at reception and agreed with the poor internet and said we’d have to book in the morning. We were lucky enough to be able to sit and wait for a table.
We were given the wrong information for parking on the lead up to our trip, with an email the day before still being incorrect. The parking system was changed on the 1st May we stayed on the 8th May which lead us to have the incorrect details. We did resolve this while traveling to the hotel but it took us a long time with multiple attempts to get through to anyone by phone. The lady was extremely helpful when we finally got through.
Such good value for money. Nice hotel, nice modern room, and such a good location for everything. Having a car park right opposite was such a help. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.
This might be preference, but the room got way too hot and the air conditioning was locked at 21c.
Lovely place! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
Nothing!
All the evening meals we had were in the hotel, because they were so "Good" and at a fair price,
The best thing were the staff, all were smiling, chatty and helped us find and suggested things to do wail we were in Brighton.
The only thing bad in Brighton is the hills that you have to walk up and down
Location
They haven't specified that Parking is Paid nearby. It says Parking available. The discounted parking voucher didn't work. It was inconvenient to come to the reception whilst waiting at the loading area and risking it to wait there while the team comes back to only give a URL for refund. THE NCP parking app also didn't work. Eventually, we had to park in the more expensive parking. It should be very clear on the hotel website /booking
The Maldron has become my go-to hotel in Brighton. The location is excellent — close to both the city centre and the seafront, and just a few minutes’ walk from the railway station.
The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed and calm, while still being professional, clean and efficient. The area itself is also pleasantly quiet.
The rooms are spotless, with everything working perfectly, including the shower. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and I appreciated having power outlets conveniently located beside the bed.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a varied buffet offering both hot and cold options to suit all tastes. Good coffee too, which is always a plus.
Maybe the only minor downside is that there isn't a clear spot to open your luggage. This isn't a problem when you travel alone, but could be when you are 2 or 3 (my room has two beds).
Great location, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Good water pressure in Shower.
Only issue we had was being asked to move from the Bar/Restaurant area to enable the tables to be set for tomorrows breakfast, unfortunately because there were six of us we ended up at a makeshift table in the reception area which wasn't really inkeeping with the overall experience of the Hotel.
