No spoon for mixing coffee and rea with. Only 1 towel when booked for 2 people. Didn't feel safe.
I would advise that no human being stay in this property, I wouldn't even let my dog stay here. Very dirty and smelly. Appeared to be an asylum hotel in all honesty. Very unhelpful staff, disgusting rooms with stains everywhere. Completely mis-represented in the pictures and description. Absolutely no parking available most of the time. Avoid at all costs.
My flight was delayed so I didn't get there until around 7pm. The door was locked, nobody answered by knocking on door or several phone calls. My cousin had been trying to contact them for days before to see if we could check-in later, again no answer. Do Not try to even start a booking for this place. 0/10
When I arrived, the front door was locked, there was no-one on the desk inside and it looked abandoned. A mobile number to call on the door for checkin, called it, left a message. Another number was supposed to be the hotel number but when I called it, it said the number was not recognised. A third mobile number on the door so I called that one, message said the voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave a message.
The paperwork clearly says the front desk is manned from 10am to 10pm - it was not.
I eventually found a customer service number for Expedia. I called them and they tried to get hold of the hotel, I was on hold for ages. Eventually they said they'd put me through to the relocation team who would find me somewhere to stay instead. When I got through to them, they said they had to speak to the hotel before they could relocate me. More hold time while they tried to call the hotel. Then when they came back to me, I could hear them but they said they couldn't hear me. They gave me three warnings that if I didn't speak they would cut the call. I was shouting in the phone & could hear all the noise in the background but they said they couldn't hear me so they cut the call.
I called customer services again - same sequence of activity, on hold, through to relocations, cut me off. Called again and this time told them I wanted a refund, waiting for this to be processed, they have to wait 72 hours. Still waiting and I have a ticket raised.
Found somewhere else to stay.
Good location, but very poor service. I wasn’t given check-in details and had to wait outside for over an hour until another guest let me in. There was no staff on duty at any point, despite the hotel claiming to have limited reception staff. No WiFi, and my messages in an effort to resolve this were ignored. Very disappointing stay.
This was one of the worst hotels in which I have stayed in recent years. The room was dirty, there was no television, no WiFi, no chair, nowhere to put clothes that could not be hung on hangers. The only way to turn the light on or off was the switch by the door. Very poor sound insulation as well, with the hotel on a main road. No staff on site, check in by mobile phone, no person to speak to once inside. I will never consider staying here again.
Check in was via a mobile number on a hand written note taped to the front door. A code for an external key safe was given, which enabled me to unlock the front door. My room key was behind an unmanned desk and I was directed to my room by the same mobile telephone conversation.
Different!
The bathroom had a shower, but the switch was outside was difficult to reach for anyone under 5'9". There was no shower gel and the toilet roll was almost empty. There was a cup holder for tooth brush, but no cup.
There were two towels, a bath towel and a hand towel that was as rough as sandpaper.
The "wardrobe" was a pole consisting of three coat hangers and a trouser hanger. The woodwork was shabby and dirty.
The bed was made, but the room wasn't in a state for occupation.
On the second night, of a two night stay, the fire alarm was activated, and as I and the other guests assembled outside a gentleman who may have been the owner attempted to reset the alarm.
Conversations with the other guests confirmed that a number of them were less than complementary about the quality of the rooms and service provided.
This hotel is being operated at arms length.
There does not appear to be an adequate number of staff to run a hotel effectively.
I will never use this hotel again and would advise others to steer clear of this establishment.
The hotel was dirty, dirty marks everywhere, carpets didn’t look clean. Room mirror was filthy. The towels in my hotel room were very damp. The Wi-Fi never works and the bed was really uncomfortable. It is a cheap stay but it still falls way short basic requirements. There was no one on front desk either to help with anything, it’s very strange.
Dont bother staying here, disgusting
It was good for the money and very convenient location.
No so good. No customer services and the place is run down not up to the standard as stated.
Nobody on site at check in, phoned number and got instructions. Building is tired and not very comfy.
Communication was pathetic., couldn’t get no Wi-Fi, couldn’t get through to anyone., nobody cleans the room.yes it was cheap but terrible stay.
Couldn’t get into my room and no receptionist. Trying to get refund. I had stay somewhere else.
Didnt see a single member of staff. Front door was locked upon arrival, rung the doorbell, tried the two different numbers on the door and the one on their website, no answer. 10 minutes another guest let us in the door as they left. A list of names and room numbers were scribbled on a piece of paper on reception. We took ourselves to our room which was unlocked with the key inside. Room was VERY basic, dated and in need of some TLC. A lady returned my call about 15 minutes later, the person on the other end of the phone answered with "yes"... I said pardon, she said "yes". It was only because i recongnised the number that I said we were tryung to check in but someone else let us in and weve found our room. She aort of apologised and sais she was in the shower... During check in hours? On checkout we left the keys in the box on the reception guest, again no one was about.
Value for money
Room comfortable, unfortunately the room key did not have the entrance key attached which required assisted admission on return to the Hotel. The bathroom extractor fan worked but no light. Also no reading lamp available.
Arrived at hotel no staff. Lady also checking in called number displayed 15mins later member of staff arrived.
Taken to my room which was in poor state.
Tv not working no wifi curtains coming off curtain pole
The presentation was poor. The booking was an emergency family member in intensive care. The presentation was so bad I did not stay.
