The staff were extremely friendly and supportive throughout our stay. We constantly felt a warm welcome and the environment was overall very tranquil in nature. A perfect escape from busy city life, felt like a completely different part of the uk.
The location itself is a bit separate from town life so getting to see sites was a mission however the staff still offered support throughout and made all our movements pretty seamless
Breakfast good but didn’t like the fact that it says breakfast included on booking.com but it turned out cooked breakfast was extra-also got a very ambivalent response from receptionist who blamed booking.com!
Breakfast not really included and not clear on web site.
Noisey in rooms close to car park/entrance to spa from about 7am
Bath outside but dirty and uninviting!
Golfers walking past 6ft from patio doors at back whilst I was doing my make up in my underwear!

Hard to find check in
No food available in sports bar for lunch and restaurant sent us away saying they were full….asked where we could eat on site and was .told to go to the pub up the road.
Restaurant staff mainly looked miserable.
Cleaner came in room 30 minutes before check out WHEN I WAS NAKED
Breakfast time we thought was too short ending at 9.45…..paid quite a bit for our package and only learnt on arrival that we were only entitled to continental breakfast and wanted another £30 off us for English breakfast
Coffee machine had gone capunk according to restaurant manager at our evening meal….so no coffees…..just a comment saying “it’s too late for a coffee anyway”
We were forced into eating much earlier than we would have liked due to restaurant fully booked ….however half the tables were never taken.
Couldn’t really enjoy the place as we had to travel off site for the afternoon to get food…..nobody tried to help at all.
Toilet was a pain to flush as it wanted to keep filling up so you had to keep going back to it to mess with button.
Always like to have complimentary biscuits in the room …there were none.
TV was a bit small and low down so hard to watch from bed where it was set up to watch from …..also it was very difficult to operate and understand.

Extractor in the shower room not working and room steamed up to be fair did not say about it until checking out
