Good breakfast, comfortable bed
Everything that happened after we left. We had to cut our stay short due to a medical emergency. Two staff members, Zak and the Deputy Manager, Sharon, who were both excellent and understanding. I was advised that a refund could be arranged but that the owner would decide and get in touch with me. Despite two reminders no response came, even though I was assured the owner had rad the emails and promised to contact me. Never happened, dreadful customer relations.
Great location, friendly helpful staff, room was beautifully decorated with lovely soft furnishings. Facilities to make a cup of coffee/tea in the room. Fresh milk & water available downstairs, plus more towels if needed.
The noise from the main road which never stops throughout the night. The windows, which are probably the original sash windows, don’t fit very well & if the property isn’t listed, could benefit from some secondary double glazing.
A little gem! Very nice place to stay. The staff were superb - thank you to all the team for making our stay wonderful. Beautiful property. Well looked after. Lovely outdoor patio. Very clean.

Stod att det skulle finnas garderob/klädskåp men det gjorde det inte. Väldigt ont om förvaring. Inga krokar att hänga ytterkläder på. Inga krokar vid handfatet att hänga handdukar på. Väldigt smutsigt sängskydd. En hylla över det lilla handfatet så det var svårt att tvätta sig och borsta tänderna. Ingen "stör ej"-skylt. Stod incheckning 15-20, men det fanns ingen personal utan man fick en kod på mail - varför ska tiden då vara begränsad?
Short walk into the city. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty breakfast. Large room in a beautifully presented old house.
We stayed during a heatwave and there was no air con or fans in the room. We had to sleep with the windows open, but being on a main road, that brought its own problems. It was a freak heatwave, and I know the manager was waiting on a delivery of fans, so for the future it may not be a problem, but it took the shine off an otherwise lovely room and very comfy bed .
The bedroom was nice and comfortable
There were no staff around and was charged for parking in spite of me being a resident. The breakfast was not very nice.

Every day different closing times of reception and phone calls because of that. Back door code didn’t work, a bit of a palaver….
