Comfortable, convenient and unexpectedly stylish
Pros:

The room was beautifully decorated with a really high attention to detail. The bathroom with rainfall shower and a separate bath was a real bonus. Pub was lovely with great food and ambience.

Fabulous Stay
Pros:

Everything! Venue is lovely, our room was super, breakfast was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful - why can’t everywhere be so nice?! Totally recommend / we will stay here again.

Cons:

Property - no issues at all - but so people know…

If you need a taxi remember costs are from Exeter not the Ley Arms so a 10 minute x round trip cost is eye watering. So plan to drive anywhere that isn’t at the Ley Arms.

Everything - perfect location, accommodation, food & staff. Loveliest place we have ever stayed!
Fabulous accommodation - enormous, uniquely and very tastefully furnished bedroom, with very comfortable and large bed.
Similarly the pub itself was beautifully and uniquely furnished & lit. The Sunday roasts were so tasty & very filling.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was also fantastic.
Wished we lived closer so we could visit more often.

Pros:

We loved the beautiful , elegant room and bathroom. Totally unique. We felt cosseted as we entered.
The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, particularly kind to my husband, who has mobility issues. Nothing was too much trouble.
We had a superb Sunday lunch, which was beautifully cooked and generous and good value.
Similarly, breakfast was excellent
We have travelled extensively and have to say the Ley Arms is well at the top of our experiences.

A really nice place to stay near Exeter and not far from beach or Dartmoor
Pros:

Great location. Really nice pub with lovely staff. Dog friendly in most areas so well catered for. Steak night was very good and reasonable value.

Cons:

Room a disable one (we are not!) but still nice. It was too hot despite radiator not being on. No other heating controls so opened window.
