Pros:

I really like the people that run it ...you can have a laugh and a joke and their professional.
I love the quirky old fashioned styling but it's done in a modern way.
The menu seemed basic but the quality of the food was fantastic everybody should try the prawns starter !!!

Two dislikes
Coffee machine in room too small difficult to use.
The noise of extractor fans outside the windows was a constant drone but okay if you're used to noise and not from the quiet countryside.

I'm definitely going to visit again and I still give it a 9 /10

It was excellent apart from the evening meal and cooked option at breakfast. My wife had the fish and chips, the batter was soggy. The cooked breakfast items were not up to our expectations, poor quality.

Lovely country pub with very high standard accommodation well positioned outside Exeter. Food and service excellent- the only shame was that I was there on a Monday evening so quite quiet but would definitely return when in the area
