Wonderful, exceeded expectations
Pros:

Location right in the middle of the village so perfect. The breakfast was great and cooked fresh. We had dinner twice and was amazing, being Gluten Free was no problem.

Great stay
Pros:

Great location in a very old listed pub. Everywhere was spotlessly clean,the rooms were comprehensively equipped for a short stay with comfortable beds,tea and coffee facilities etc
The breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious.
The staff were always attentive and cheerful,nothing was too much trouble.A most enjoyable stay.

Cons:

Because the pub was very old and listed the rooms and facilities had to be fitted in.This meant that the en suite and furnishings were a bit small and limited..This did not spoil our stay in any way

Pros:

Everything about the hotel was just fantastic, the location was stunning, the staff were very friendly and attentive especially the 2 young girls whose names I didn't get, one was working on the Thursday night and the other girl Friday morning, both really couldn't do enough for you, were so very lovely and really looked after us.
I would highly recommend The Black Lion Hotel.

Pros:

The room was very clean & decor was lovely . :-) Facilities great & breakfast lovely . We had a meal in the restaurant & that was delicious too

Cons:

Sadly the bathroom was tiny !! Smallest Ive ever seen :-(
& just on a personal note .. there is no table or chair in the bedroom for a lady to do her hair & make up ?

A very restful, peaceful & quiet stay in the very tranquil & beautiful part of Norfolk.
Pros:

Had a delicious full English breakfast. And had a very comfortable, quiet & peaceful night - quality sleep! Location was very good as all the places we wanted to visit was either a short walking or short drive away from the hotel.

Cons:

TV in the bedroom didn't work & hot water from the sink was a bit slow.p
