Nice for a night
Pros:

Located in a pretty village, 5 miles from Wells. The evening meal we had was great as was the breakfast, all freshly cooked. Our room was clean. My kids liked the hot chocolate and biscuits.

Cons:

It’s quite noisy, you can hear all the plumbing from the other rooms. If someone gets up at 6:30am you’ll hear them.

Just what we wanted. Emma was particulaly charming & helpful. She went the "extra mile".
Pros:

Breakfast great. Location great.

Cons:

Chairs in the bedroom would have nice. Had to watch the telly (lying in bed) from the other side of the room.

Pros:

Spacious bedroom, comfortable bed, plenty of tea coffee biscuits in bedroom, quirky old building but nicely restored.
Evening meal was good although not particularly cheap. Breakfast nicely prepared. Good coffee.

Cons:

Weak radiator heating in bedroom (never exceeded warm even at max valve setting). Breakfast cereals not self service, and no muesli choice. No easy access to any secure bicycle storage.

Very well located

Cons:

The single bedroom smelt of damp before the radiator threw some warmth around the room. Skeight beds had chipped headboards could do with a re-paint and no history of walsingham in the room. Quite basic but very clean.

Wonderful, exceeded expectations
Pros:

Location right in the middle of the village so perfect. The breakfast was great and cooked fresh. We had dinner twice and was amazing, being Gluten Free was no problem.

Great stay
Pros:

Great location in a very old listed pub. Everywhere was spotlessly clean,the rooms were comprehensively equipped for a short stay with comfortable beds,tea and coffee facilities etc
The breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious.
The staff were always attentive and cheerful,nothing was too much trouble.A most enjoyable stay.

Cons:

Because the pub was very old and listed the rooms and facilities had to be fitted in.This meant that the en suite and furnishings were a bit small and limited..This did not spoil our stay in any way
