Smell of indian food and messy, neglected entrance near car park. Could do with TLC.

Shower was blistering hot with no way to cool it down (had to wash my hair in the sink with a coffee mug) and the bed only had 1 pillow, also the provided cuttlery was not clean.

The customer service and the lack of sleep due to the room next to me being very loud and having there TV on until 4am in the morning. I told the staff and they said the next night don't worry there will be noone in the room next to me. Sure enough another loud night ensued with people loudly talking and shouting until gone 1 in the morning. I was visiting to help my poorly Grandma , so sleep was needed especially as I have a heart condition myself. This was almost 3 months ago, I've contacted the hotel but with only a reply saying they will look into it, nothing else. Really bad stay and not very helpful staff at all!

The bed was so uncomfortable, it was noisy we could hear the other rooms conversations. It was drafty the window was very poor and the drains kept making a really weird sound. The pillows were paper thin we had to use clothes to make it better.

Our 1st floor room had no frosted glass, blind or curtain up at the bathroom window which overlooked the road. The toilet was right in front of the large window. We spoke to the member of staff about this but he just said, well it's high up what's the problem. We weren't offered another room so I asked for a refund for 2 nights we'd booked as I didn't feel comfortable staying there.
I was only given a refund for 1 night and had to book another hotel at short notice at considerable expense.
I have complained to booking.com requesting a full refund.
