OYO Ivy Hotel

There were cockcroaches on the carpet in the room and spider in the bathtub. We were scared to sleep on the bed in case there was bed bugs in the mattress. So instead we slept on top of the blankets and were cold in the middle of the night. Hardly slept that night. The breakfast was very disappointing.

Just need some touchups, and some people are a bit loud but can’t really help that apart from that absolutely loved it

The bed was infested with bed buds, we woke up at 1am covered in them, immediately left the hotel

Television hard to set up for normal channels

The hotel isn't very clean and needs updating
Carpet in the room was covered in stains needs replacing
Lots of mould in the shower and in the sink
Worst of all the toilet bust was absolutely disgusting poo in the brush and the container

Because we both have mobility problems the stairs up to the front door, but staff and other people staying there were very helpful

Toilet seat was loose curtains were very thin. I informed them ahead of my stay that I required gluten free but all I could have was yoghurt and fruit

Didn't like the state of the decor the smashed widow the smell of weed the disgusting state of the microwave the stain and smell of sick on the floor the homeless drug addicts and drunks who obviously live there the overall cleanliness of the bathroom with paint flaking off the ceiling the lack of service to the room no fresh towels even though the whole time of our stay my partner didn't shower as it was so disgusting

Nothing it wasn’t very clean at all. It was rundown. There was continental breakfast that looked like it had been in there for weeks. Very disappointing.

The hotel

the room the bathroom floor u sink down into the flooring there were 2 bed bugs in the bed and the walls were damp and no central heating my partner was very cold in room it was a wet week outside so heating should of been on

Breakfast well, there was a couple of loafs of bread some jam, crossiants in a bag and that was about it for a continental breakfast, so didn't bother with it..
Alot of rubbish outside.

Outside views no good, rubbish pile not necessary in car park. Check in time a little late.

The room was dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off. The shower was leaking at the bottom so tje bathroom floor was soaking wet. Around yhe showe it was dirty the carpets was dirty the window was dirty the walls was dirty. The carpet on the stairs was loose so it is dangerous. There was no spoons or milk in the room the ketting had limescale in it.

The toilet seat was loose. We had to go around the room with antiseptic wipes. I did pay for breakfast, but didn't even attend the breakfast. We didn't trust the the hygiene. I also moved the tv and part of the ceiling came off??? It stunk in the room when we first arrived too. We only stayed for one night. That was more than enough. This is an honest review. Absolutely the worst place I've stayed in. No exaggerating. Please stay away.
