The exclusiveness of the location. The chef. Food was incredible. The many different scotch’s at the bar and the crew. Overall had an incredible stay. Would stay here again.
Internet connection wasn’t working in units, but other than that. No complaints.
Lovely property!!
The walk to the rooms. The golf carts should offer rides to guests.
The location is amazing -- quiet, dark, cozy. You feel like you are removed from the whole world, but you still have the amenities of a really nice hotel. The cabins were the perfect size. The beds were super cozy. The food at the restaurant was amazing -- especially the dessert. The breakfast offered a lot of variety, including fresh fruits. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a cold plunge pool and sauna that I didn't use, but I did check it out and they were very nice and very clean. Highly recommend staying here.
The rooms are nice.
The location is out of the town of Portree. The cabins are accessed by foot. They are quite away from the car park. Not good when you arrive in rain! Staff at breakfast, bar and restaurant are friendly and good. The check in staff and porters who deliver bags and pick up bags need to be a little more professional. They are casually dressed and smoke in the entry to hotel. Not really the welcoming to a a pretty expensive hotel.
Concept très sympa et superbe emplacement !
The staff were exceptional, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Cabins were cosy and warm for our winter stay, very comfortable bed.
Restaurant and menu was lovely, the included breakfast has a great menu to select from (instead of a buffet style).
Great little bar with a good selection of cocktails and whiskies.
We needed to ask for the room to be cleaned a couple of times.
Todo estuvo genial: el alojamiento muy bonito, cómodo y limpio. El personal fue super amable y la ubicación es excepcional.
Recomiendo reservar en su restaurante.
No haberme quedado más días :P
This property was an absolutely stunning place to stay! It is incredibly beautiful. The huts are cute, cozy and warm. The views are stunning. The restaurant does delicious food. The bar has some incredible whiskey’s and other drinks. And the staff are all so friendly and helpful, they were genuinely kind and caring. Everything was perfect for our stay.
Nothing, everything was perfect!
La vue, le cadre, le concept, la déco, le restaurant
Penser à réserver le spa car pas beaucoup de créneaux horaires…
Accueil mitigé
Nice location and concept, but fell short of expectations.
24 hours before arriving, we called to request one of the rooms to have twin beds. The reception staff acknowledged that they would see to it and left a note in the booking. The next day, on arrival, we were told no twin beds were available. The staff was quite adamant that nothing could be done despite the previous day's call acknowledging our request and confirming it would be attended to. Since no other cabins were available, we asked for a second duvet since the cabin only had one to share. We were told that none were available. The next morning on checking out we mentioned our disappointment to the reception staff who said they would speak with their colleague as they should not have acknowledged the possibility of arranging twin beds sonce the hotel doesn't have any, and also that extra duvets were in fact available and one should have been provided to us. While the staff was applologetic, they were not very friendly in communicating with us. The cabins themselves are okay but could do with some repairs (shower door held together with a screw, damage to the shower wall, the waste bin lid was broken), and the beds would be much better as queen instead of double french style beds which are quite small for two persons.
From the moment you arrive, you are taken aback from the beauty of this hotel and its location. A golf cart picks you up with your luggage and takes you to your room. The room was spacious and made special with a sort of a welcome hamper. All staff members went out of their way to make my one-night stay special. From the porter to the reception desk, to the bartender, to the restaurant’s staff. They also have a sauna which you can book - and afterward jump into an icy cold pool which water from the valley. What a great stay, ons of those stays you can’t miss when you go to Isle of Skye.
Nothing
Le cadre, unique, le professionnalisme, petit dej copieux, dîner excellent avec des produits locaux.
