Solo female travellers be aware!
Pros:

The room was great and really clean, the bed was comfy (even though I didn’t sleep) bathroom was spot on and I loved the decor. The breakfast room is small, but there’s plenty of things to choose from a complimentary continental breakfast.

Cons:

I’m a bit loathed to give this review as it’s not really the hotel’s fault, however I do think they could be a bit clearer about lack of facilities and it been unmanned before you book. The hotel is not the nicest of places to be walking around when it starts getting dark. I was approached by someone clearly on drugs who told me he was going to attack me, I was just walking 3 minutes away from the hotel to get something to eat as there’s no restaurant at the hotel. This wasn’t late it was just after 6.30pm and midweek. As the hotel is unmanned when I returned after trying to avoid the same person who was persistently horrible as they followed me back towards the hotel there was no one there to make me feel a bit safer. I put the key code in the main door and hoped the person wasn’t too close that he could have followed me in as there was a slight delay in the door closing. Luckily he didn’t. I travel for work a lot and have done for quite some years and I’ve never felt as vulnerable as this particularly as there were quite a few other people hanging around street corners and alleys ways in the same state. The hotel itself is lovely and maybe I’ve just had a bad experience from my stay. I wish I’d known there was a lack of reception area as you aren’t greeted upon arrival (this was only confirmed on email after the booking was made) no bar or restaurant and also that the area surrounding the hotel leaves a lot to be desired as I wouldn’t have booked it and for this reason I won’t be staying again, which is a shame as I quite liked the modern and slightly off the wall interior design but if you don’t feel safe when travelling alone it’s a big no no from me.

Pros:

Quite a surprising hotel with an interesting choice of decor. Felt like I was in draculas house.

Nice stay
Pros:

Great location. Comfortable room. Looks as described. Working AC which was helpful in hot weather. Otherwise I would definitely book again if I need somewhere to stay last minute in Boston. Staff where very helpful when I forgot my code to my room and had a call day of check in explaining how to get into the rooms via the code.

Cons:

Only down sides are no lift and breakfast room is a very small if you intent to eat in there.
Would be good to have a phone/intercom at entrance incase you lock yourself out.

Good hotel in handy location
Pros:

Beautiful, unusual hotel in a good location

Cons:

No proper breakfast area/ communal room, painting in bedroom left a lot to be desired ( it let down a beautiful room) The shower tray is not deep enough and water floods the floor
