It was a good location & the staff on check in were friendly. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good
The rooms were far smaller than advertised. The door physically hit the bed when open and it was incredibly cramped. Everything needs a bit of an uplift, it's quite tired in the rooms and bathrooms. The showers are mixer so it's separate taps and we could not get a consistent temperature either. The age of the building also meant that the walls are very thin so every movement above below and next to you can be heard so something to be aware of.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room had a lovely view over the garden, it was a shame the view was spoiled by scaffolding. The bathroom was a little small but adequate for 2 friends who've shared twin room previously. The bedding and towels were lovely and the cleanliness in the room and hotel generally was excellent. The breakfast menu was great and quality of food was lovely. Shame no natural yoghurt or muesli on offer :(
The lift was a little small, especially if travelling with large luggage. The bath would have felt safer with a non slip mat and safety handle by the shower end. A clearer sign for the restaurant would have been helpful, as was wondering around to find breakfast location on 1st morning... Otherwise a wonderful stay :)

The location is nice, the building itself is so old that it should be demolished and built anew as a hotel. The is a reconstruction next to the building and in the day it's noisy as well as the building is also in construction frames from the back of the house.
The rooms are small und old, the separate cranes system is making the handwashing a new challenge, the place is way overpriced, there is no Irish breakfast although it's promised in the commercials and it's a 2star place, not 3star as in booking.
