Our room although being more expensive then others in our group was a little disappointing. A television from a previous era. Not the end of the world but strange and a floor that felt like we was walking downhill to go to bed.

Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating.Breakfasts were good. Seaview room good. Public areas clean and tidy. Decorated a bit zany in places but OK.
Our room was in need of some attention to decor. Wallpaper ripped away from wall and skirting board loose and in need of paint. Brown stains in the bath . No mirror in dressing table area,would be nice to see what you are doing when drying hair. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom,a shelf would be a good idea, so our toiletries were on the floor. We stayed for a week,we asked after 4 days to have our room done. The bins were emptied and more UHT milk in room, plus a clean towel. We also think hotel is being used for care in the community,there was a problem with one of the guests.

Nice welcome by staff all very friendly. The Seaview room was a good size with hot water always available.
Breakfast was excellent quality and well cooked. As we had a dog with us,our breakfast was in the bar area which was fine.

The bar was nicely decorated and the staff were friendly. The parking was good and location was great as you could see the sea and it was 2 mins to walk to beach.

Bed was a bit hard for me but that's my personal preference, the rest of the party who were in other rooms said they were very comfortable

The staff are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Our room was spotless, it did seem a bit tired and the furniture was a bit dated but all perfectly serviceable.

5 minute walk to seafront, and town
We had room 109, which i would call a small double.
Myself and partner are not small, but we're not that big either, but we both found navigating ourselves (showering separately i must add) in and out of the small shower enclosure a bit of an artform. Be ready for a blast of cold water when you catch the lever whilst washing....
