Quiet room, on site parking, traditional full English breakfast.
Run down room decor and outdated en suite facilities.
Great location, friendly staff , clean ,great breakfast
The TV was very small
Ice property , good position and value for money
Needs a little updating but still ok
Location and view from window to the sea, where we watched fishing boats returning.
All staff so friendly and property very clean
The bar area was very nicely decorated, unlike the rest of the hotel, but the owner didn't make me feel welcome in there because her dog started barking, and so mine joined in! So I went to my room. On the plus side, people of Exmouth are lovely and friendly !!
They claim to be dog friendly but aren't, even though they have their own dogs around.
I wasn't told there was an extra charge to take my little Jack Russell but was made to pay extra on arrival.
I was made to eat in a separate area from everyone else, and staff were inconsistent on what I was offered/served. I wasn't told until the second day that there was a separate buffet which I could have used.
It made me feel quite unwelcome.
The owner was talking quite loudly and openly with a receptionist, about other guests who had been placed there by social services.
I was on the top floor and the lift stopped working.
The view from our room, 303, was spectacular. The decor was beautiful.
All the staff were friendly & we had a lovely drink in the bar, with Paulette ensuring we were looked after. She is so welcoming & interesting to talk with.
Breakfast was delicious & we liked the fact you can change the breakfast for your own taste.
The extractor fan is very noisy in the bathroom but not sure what could be done about it as obviously need one in there. The bath enamel is lifting was worried it may leak. The lights in the bedroom are very bright above the bed maybe a dimmer switch would keep everyone 😁
Great spot overlooking the sea.
Bit dated
