Excellent and attentive staff from start to finish. Good hearty breakfast..
I arrived on Sunday 14th September and there were no Sunday roasts. The television in the room could only show BBC1 and BBC2. The room wasn't cleaned when requested
Very helpful directions to carpark. Room well presented, thanks to Lynne and Alex.
Continental breakfast very nice, hot drinks came too soon before food.
Room temperature was just fine and bed very comfortable, lovely large room.
Quietl at night.
All staff were very friendly.
Excellent service from check in to leaving. Exceptional personal service
Incredible value and very high standards. Best place to stay in Beverley

Great location- walkable from train station- charming building/rooms. Comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Also good foods and services
We stayed on a Saturday night. There was a DJ with very loud music until pretty late. I got the impression that was a regular occurrence. That really should have been explained at the booking stage (I blame Expedia as much as the hotel). I don’t know if Fridays are the same, but I wouldn’t be surprised. The bottom line is, ring them to check, if you think it may be an issue for you.
On the plus side, breakfast was good. Not quick, but it was fresh when it came. The staff were all lovely throughout our stay. Helpful at every opportunity. I think I know when it’s genuine, rather than fulfilling the script. I think they were great. So much so that I’m sorry not to be more positive in my overall review.
We stayed in the “family” room which looked lovely. The main bed was good, however the 2nd bed was an old pull out sofa bed, which did not adequately fit 2 people, it had a dip in the middle, the mattress didn’t cover the metal frame and someone ended up having to sleep on the floor with no covers.
There were also 2 large windows with no blind which meant from about 4.30am the light came in and woke the people who had managed to get any sleep up.
There were only 2 cups provided for 4 people.
The bathroom was nice and the member of staff who showed us the room was friendly.
Sadly it was not a great night sleep, we are all tired and wouldn’t recommend staying as a family.
The parking was a bit of a nightmare as well, although a member of staff did come out to assist with knowing where we could park.
For the price this was quite upsetting that we didn’t manage to sleep and that the 2nd bed was no good.
Do not stay here on a Saturday night. The pub basically turns into some kind of club with ridiculously loud music until about 1am and you will not sleep because it is so loud. I wish someone had told me this on booking or check in, it’s ridiculously poor service. I was then also woken up at 6am due to things being dropped on the ceiling above me. If you want a good sleep, don’t go here!
Very friendly welcome and a lovely, clean and very spacious room, the bathroom looked a little tired and if I was any taller than the 6’1 it would have been a real struggle to wash in the shower as there’s quite a low ceiling. Really comfy bed, only other criticism would be the position of the TV which was on a wall to the side of the bed and didn’t have a bracket so that you could turn it
Room was very comfortable but it was a little noisy in the morning.
When we arrived the staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The room was nice could see beverley town centre from our window. We had lovely breakfast. I can't wait to go back. The best of all free parking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ate evening meal also breakfast there and enjoyed both.
Our stay was a Friday evening and our room was at the front of the hotel. We were woken at 4.50 am by the noise of them constructing the market stalls. We appreciate this isn’t anything the hotel is responsible for but it spoilt an enjoyable stay.
Friendly efficient service, good dining, very comfortable room . This hotel is in a brilliant location right in the centre of this charming town.
Ideal location for theatre visit. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Big room - huge bed - great.
Stay here, I cannot stress enough how amazing my stay was. It was sad to say goodbye to the most lovely, helpful staff who felt like family. Incredible - Thank you especially to Lucy and Emily who couldn’t have done more. I will stay here again and so should you!
Hotel was lovely. Dissapointed that tea was not included with breakfast though and had to pay extra?
Absolutely perfect in every way. Superb room, ideally situated to enjoy all of Beverley's attractions and town centre, and free parking right outside.
The room would be lovely if there was some maintenance carried out. Paint was peeling off, the windows are single glazed, need replacing, black mould on the inside and the wind came through them when closed
