Poor experience
Pros:

The location was good and the decor of the lobby and room was good in general with a couple of exceptions.

Cons:

I had requested a twin room which had been confirmed, but it was set up as a double. The corner of one of the fitted sheets was torn.
There were screws sticking out of the wall where something had been removed.
There was an unpleasant 'drain' smell in the room when we arrived, which came and went.
There was scaffolding outside when we arrived and the works began at 7.30 in the morning. The site cabin was right outside our window. It was low noise at first but was loud by 8.30. We had booked for 2 nights and at that point decided we weren't going to stay there and informed the owner. We paid for a room in another hotel instead.
Perhaps we were unlucky as the place looked very nice and well kitted out generally, but it wasn't suitable.

Pretty good location but not quite top notch
Pros:

Not too far from the centre and main train station

Cons:

The 3rd bed wasn’t brilliant and sloped down on one side. Grit and dust round the window and desk unit but to be fair the building was surrounded by scaffolding and they were doing repairs to the outer wall so believe this was the cause. A tiny cold unit held 4 small bottles of water so would have liked it to be a bit bigger given it was a very hot weekend

Room was good, noise was not
Pros:

As described, central and easy to access following the instructions sent.

Cons:

The fact that there was construction work going on right outside my bedroom window from 7.15 am each morning. Also, I had left my window open for air and had to close it due to the construction workers smoking and shouting. It would have been nice to have been told about this before arrival and I would have known not to expect some relaxing peace and quiet

Building works not communicated. No replies of response from the hotel and no staff on hand to sort anything out. Poor.
Pros:

Good location for Liverpool lime street station.

Cons:

The whole building is covered in scaffolding currently, with workers banging and crashing from 8am as they replace the cladding. Not their fault, just doing their job. But the hotel didn’t mention this at all upon booking and have not replied to any emails or messages about it since . The scaffolding itself meant the window couldn’t be opened at all, (room 5 is a non air conditioned room) and any natural light was blocked out by the scaffold boards turning the room into a prison cell. Rest of the facilities were perfectly fine. But, they should communicate the building works that are going on so people can decide if they really want to stay there or not.

Disappointing
Pros:

The room itself was nice, and the hotel lobby was clean and neat. Location is convenient for the city centre.

Cons:

- The building is under construction and covered in scaffolding, which made it impossible to find. There is no signage, and I did several laps of the area before finding it. This is not mentioned in the description.
- I was woken up several mornings by drilling from the construction.
- The 'window' is tiny, and further scaffolding was set up during my stay that covered the window almost entirely. For the amount paid, it was very dark and effectively windowless.
- The room was also described as having a refrigerator. I was expecting a mini fridge, but it has a drinks/skincare size fridge, which could barely fit a 1L carton of milk (I had to fold down the paper top to fit it in). Again, for the amount paid, my expectations were higher, and would suggest adjusting the description
- The walls are very thin, and doors have to be closed quite forcefully to lock correctly, so I was often woken up by neighbouring apartments slamming their doors throughout the night.

Perfect stay for a mini break
Pros:

There was a microwave, dishes and cutlery in the room and a mini fridge with bottles of water. It was very hot outside, so even though the room was cool, Geoff gave me a fan to help me cool down. Room was great value and perfect for us. It was 15 minutes walk from Liverpool One Bus station and about 10 minutes from the Cavern Quarter.

Cons:

The scaffolding outside wasn't expected but everything perfect inside.

A lovely place just out of the centre of town
Pros:

Seeing peoples comments on their stays as I entered was interesting and gave me a good feeling before I even got to the room. The room was nice, very clear and then bed I will say was OK, of the two nights I woke up with a backache once but better on the 2nd night. Plenty of pillows too. The bathroom was nice. It was a slightly basement room and upon stepping in want pleasantly cool given the heat recently and stays at a nice temperature throughout. A lovely place.

Cons:

There was a very mini fridge in the room, it held 6 small water bottles but did not cool anything as even the next morning they were still room temp.

Expensive for what it was
Pros:

Close to the city centre and was clean and relatively simple to access.

Cons:

A very springy bed that felt like it has been very well used and probably at the end of its working life. Pretty uncomfortable to be honest.
