Very underwhelming and we will stick to the other Manchester location in the future
Pros:

We much prefer the other location in Manchester
The Batman was very knowledgable and friendly

Cons:

Downstairs smelt very damp
The reception is very underwhelming and it feels like you are in the bar and grill and not the hotel
We stayed for my husbands birthday and emailed in advance to ask if there were any little touches which you replied there was yet nothing was done. (We often stay at Malmaison for birthday weekends and have always had a free drink or even just a card)
The reception staff were unkempt and i don’t feel
They represented the Malmaison brand as we would expect
