Great comfortable
The room was gorgeous and we got a free room upgrade which was lovely.
The walls were very thin, I could hear the conversation of someone in the room next to us at 6.30am. We felt the bar staff could have been more professional in the roof top bar. Service was very slow despite only having 3 couples in the bar. The breakfast was so over priced. The continental breakfast was very minimal and the cooked food was awful for £45 for two people (after already paying £145 for the room)

The room I stayed in was the perfect size and shape, and beautifully decorated!
It had actual places to store my clothes (very unusual for a Malmaison!), and the dining/bar are were lovely places to spend time.
The room was freezing!! Regardless of what I did with the controls (at one point it said it was 23!) it stayed cold. I was working at the desk and had to put my coat on over my thick sweater, and I was still cold under the duvet. It felt like the room was at about 15-16 degrees.
Also, the skirting boards outside of the bathroom need replacing.
Travelled just me & my young son. Staff were great especially Front of house manager, was so good and attentive with hom.

The food in Sora was amazing, that’s the restaurant in the hotel.
We had a lovely stay and its great location too.

Location was good
I upgraded the room however there're ground in stains on the bedsheet , stains on the Cushion and bath mat. I booked for 2 adults and was only supplied 1 towel. The desk area was very dusty and the pillows very very thin . Overall not a great experience and expected a lot more. It was basic issues that could have been avoided

Cleanliness could be improved. I found an empty bottle of water in my mini fridge.
Good location and room looked to a high spec
Lots of noise from the street outside esp from passing trams which also shook the room on the first floor. The air con unit & heater made a racket and sounded like a 40yr old fridge so had to keep that off. Cobwebs in the room and toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, this is not the Mal experience I’m used to
