The location was not far from the main streets with ease of access for food shopping and just over a 10 minute walk to the tube station. The road was mainly a quiet location.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The single room with en suite was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was easy to use and water did not take long to warm up.
The heating was put on early morning which was nice as there was a cold spell of weather when I stayed.
Although the room was functional, it could be cared for better as it looked tired and really needed a coat of paint as there were water stains on the ceiling and marks on the walls. A disappointment in effort of good standards.
The heating needed to be on in the evening when the temperature had dropped.
Noise from the visitors talking at Reception could be quite loud, at times. My room was just up the stairs from Reception.

The bed was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly. The location is fairly quiet.
Utter lack of facilities. No tea and coffee in the room - you have to go downstairs to have a hot drink, but all I wanted to do after a long commute and full day at work was crash out in my room. Would really have appreciated a kettle, it's pretty standard in most British hotels.
No side table, lamp, or any other basic comfort. Just bed, hard chair and open wardrobe.
Marks and peeling paint on walls, made it feel very run down and uncared for.
Worst thing was the shared bathroom. It was reasonably clean but tiny - barely 1m x 1m, completely unacceptable as a shared facility. No way to have a shower without soaking the toilet, and the sink was so small I barely had room to brush my teeth. The owner needs to convert one of the bedrooms into a bathroom, because this one is ridiculous. And I say this as a normal sized person, goodness knows what a tall or large person would make of it.
I got this room at a discount price of £65, which is far too expensive for the low quality.
I'm glad I only stayed 1 night because the room was depressing and the shower basically unusable because of size of bathroom. I won't be staying here again.
It was a lovely clean hotel & the second time staying here. I liked the location.
It was very hot during the heatwave, back in July. There was no fans.
Also, no lifts & no breakfast.

De ligging, kort bij de snelweg, korte loopafstand tot metro station, gratis parkeren voor de deur. Eetruimte met koffie en thee, koekjes en een koelkast voor de gasten. Stille veilige omgeving. Vriendelijk personeel.
WiFi router niet altijd stabiel. Geen airco of ventilator bij warm weer.
