Excellent value for money
Pros:

Very cheap so no frills but room was big, bed very comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, no opening & closing of heavy doors

Not even at standard of a budget hotel
Pros:

Not much to like, but not a bad design, and good tv

Cons:

Poor even for a budget hotel, old furniture and rooms, noisy and check in was not easy. Had to pay with physical credit card, and you need to scan a barcode for wifi access which I did not trust and use. Dirty room and bin was not cleaned

Restful and pleasant
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and warm with the heater on. The food on the restaurant menu was excellent as well, really recommend.

Cons:

The problem is the location, too far from the city centre. However, it is in no way the fault of the staff, who was really kind and helpful. At the same time the remoteness of the place enabled me to focus on my work.

Overnight stay to break our journey.
Pros:

Easy to park. Rooms at rear of building away from the road. Room quiet, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Everything needed for an overnight stay.
