it's ok for the money paid, a bit tired looking place but passable
The views where the bestvthing about staying here!
The room needed an update, it was very dated, the bed base was falling apart, the lampshade was split, it only had a normal double bed, so felt very cramped. The bathroom had a very high bath that for the more mature person was very hard to get in and out off and again very dated, the bath panel was broken, the bath and sink were both pitted. Our room was not cleaned all week, there is a notice in the room saying the room will be cleaned every two days, it was not so I asked for our room to be cleaned on the thrid day, it was not, on the forth day after complaing again, the bed was made (no clean sheets) clean towels, the bin was emptied, and more tea bags and milk left, the room was not touched again while we were there!! The only good thing about our stay was Michael the member of staff who was always there.

An Old building & was a bit of a rabbit warren with lots of corridors & was easy to get lost trying to find room at first.We were at the back of hotel, not very scienic but was nice & quiet away from clubs & pubs pounding music along the seafront.

The Location was great but the room was shabby and totally lacking in style or. Corinthians, I had breakfast on one of the 2 days I. Was there I asked for a couple of fryed eggs and coffee and I what a was given was unbelievable although I was booked in. For a breakfast they were not ready for me. or any guest who wanted. Somethings to eat. Then the fire alarm went off in the hotel about 10 30 pm the guest didn't know what was going on little explanation from anyone.the night staff who was doing his best to keep the situation under control he manged to stop the terrible noise then at 6 am the fire alarm went off again waking everyone up and having to to leave the hotel standing outside in the cold again no explanation later in the morning I asked a member of the staff why the alarm went off twice he give me a cock and bull story by saying. Someone might have been smoking in one of the rooms I think looks suspiciously like some kind of fuilty wiring I would never go back there again

Worth knowing that the music from downstairs causes the whole building to vibrate. Music stops at 11pm but you won’t want to be in the room in the evening before then.
The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly
The room was tatty and dirty.
The window had to be shut and the curtains closed as it was next to a staircase that was next to the building and the public could look in to the room.
It was room 201.
The advertised photos were nothing like the room.
At the price they charged I would expect much much better
there was lot of noise coming from the 1st floor event room
