Wouldn't stay again
Pros:

Upgraded to sea view

Cons:

Entrance door to hotel filthy! Reception not particularly nice. Carpets stained.
The bed was clean but the carpets in the room are dirty, the mirror was filthy, I was not impressed.

Perfect location
Pros:

Great location with fabulous views over looking the harbour from our large, spacious, comfortable room.
This was a most enjoyable 3 night midweek stay.
Plenty of eating and drinking places very close by.
If travelling by train, it's very convenient to catch the loop bus to the hotel every 10 mins.

Cons:

Two flights of stairs to our room but worth the climb for the views.

Beyond expectations, staff friendly and welcoming, great locations.
Pros:

The room far exceeded the expectation, with a lovely view of the harbour. Very quiet especially when took hearing aids out. Very attentive staff. Superb location within easy walk of good pubs and excellent restaurants. Plus right on the harbour so lovely walks.

The rain.

I was not informed that the room was on the third floor with no lift. At 71 years old after a days work this would have not booked. Would have booked a lower floor. Very happy to see a lovely jacuzzi bath which I filled before realising it didn’t work.

Perfect
Pros:

I stayed at this Hotel 2 weeks (Bank holiday )prior to staying last week and the minute you walk in you are greeted by the friendliest staff the location is excellent, the Hotel is very clean and the rooms are very comfy, huge breakfast as well in fact I am staying there again on the 6th and 7th September as it ticks all the boxes.
