Thoroughly enjoyable. Staff fantastic, so attentive & friendly. Quiet location on 9th floor amazing

Breakfasts and location of the breakfast restaurant were both fabulous

Cons:

The shower cubical and toilet cubical are both glass fronted with misted glass, which leaves little to the imagination when your partner visits as it is it is in the bedroom. I would have liked a second wash basin in the bedroom, as if my husband was shaving for example and I had been to the toilet, you had to wait to wash your hands. At this price I would have expected this and the layout would lend itself to this. But has we have been together for 50 years this wasn’t really an issue but possibly not ideal for honeymooners as some of the mystic might disappear 🫠

Excellent experience in Edinburgh
Pros:

- Unbeatable location
- incredible staff
- house keeping are very good at their job
- close to the best shopping mall in the city
- most of the dine in food was delicious
- double ironing equipment is definitely a plus
- overall an excellent experience

Cons:

- not sure if it’s the pressure in the restaurants but I ordered to dine in twice and in the both situations something was wrong or missing
- unfortunately the town house room I stayed it had an obvious problem the windows are not sound proof so any noise gets directly in the room
- the modern style doesn’t give the guest the privacy they need is in the toilet

Stylish, comfortable, super-cool packed with amenities, all mixed perfectly with wonderful staff.
Pros:

Super stylish rooms in the heart of the city. Amazing staff who were so helpful. Incredible rooftop views.

Cons:

I wouldn't have changed anything about our stay. It is pricey, but it was well worth it.

Most modern hotel I encountered in Edinburgh
Pros:

The main building design, restaurants, adjacent mall, and over all location. Clean with modern interiors, and very nice staff.

We arrived 1 hour past check-in time and still on of the rooms was not ready, and we were offered a accessibility room instead. For the value we paid, we expect to get exactly what we booked for and at the time we are promised which is check-in time. Also, i sent my clothes to laundry and got them back in a very bad condition! Two of the pants were completely shrunk and out of shape from the laundry! This is not the service I expected at a 5 star hotel! My experience was disappointing.

Great location, plenty of glitz not sure of standards once through the check in process but all staff very nice

Front of house staff very welcoming and considerate. Great location. Cool decor and great outside roof top area

Cons:

Long wait for breakfast, long wait at the bar, room not turned around until very late in the afternoon. Felt the levels of service provided fell short of the aspiration of the hotel, very glitzy but a little short on standards but all staff polite.
