Disappointing.

We arrived 1 hour past check-in time and still on of the rooms was not ready, and we were offered a accessibility room instead. For the value we paid, we expect to get exactly what we booked for and at the time we are promised which is check-in time. Also, i sent my clothes to laundry and got them back in a very bad condition! Two of the pants were completely shrunk and out of shape from the laundry! This is not the service I expected at a 5 star hotel! My experience was disappointing.

Cons:

Staff were nice, but slow, checking in was at 3pm, but I waited till 6pm to get into my room, I had received some flowers on my birthday while staying at the hotel, they failed to mention it or deliver to my room, I find out a day later, after leaving the hotel.
So they need to pick up on their skills, otherwise, they were very friendly.

Great location, plenty of glitz not sure of standards once through the check in process but all staff very nice
Pros:

Front of house staff very welcoming and considerate. Great location. Cool decor and great outside roof top area

Cons:

Long wait for breakfast, long wait at the bar, room not turned around until very late in the afternoon. Felt the levels of service provided fell short of the aspiration of the hotel, very glitzy but a little short on standards but all staff polite.

Great location, lovely rooms.
Pros:

Brilliant location in the centre of Edinburgh. Room was very comfortable and well thought out. Rooftop bar was excellent and staff left a lovely note and a bottle of Prosecco as it was our wedding anniversary.

Cons:

Parking was fine but only found on the way out that the door to the hotel lifts was right by our car but locked for access.

Just Sublime made to feel like a VIP from start to finish . Felt very authentic . High end but not pretentious .
Pros:

How contemporary and well designed it was . We absolutely loved the 360 degree views over Edinburgh. The staff could not have been more welcoming or do enough for you.
