Schön designtes Hotel direkt bei Einkaufszentrum , sehr freundlicher Empfang. Allle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nähe zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Tolles Hotel in Edinburgh an sicherer Lage.

Cons:

Fast kein Stauraum im Zimmer. Hier wurde mehr aufs Design geachtet, nicht auf Funktionalität. SPA Bereich nicht im Hotelpreis inbegriffen, für 60 GB pro Person / pro Stunde sind nur ein Whirlpool und eine Sauna, Dusche vorhanden . Ausser lauwarmes Wasser / Kaffee/Tee im Zimmer erhält man keine kostenlose Spezialität aus Schottland oder Pralinen, Bonbons ect., auch nicht als Give away.. Finde das man in einem 5 Sterne Hotel schon etwas erwarten dürfte. Minibar ist mit sehr hohen Preisen gut bestückt. Im Etagen Flur hat es sehr unangenehm gerochen.

A superb experience.
Pros:

The view of the city skyline from the top deck is superb. The rooms are intelligently designed, sockets where I needed them to be, lighting controls in the right place and the whole building is well laid out.

The staff during my stay couldn’t do enough, they were responsive, helpful and interesting to talk to, they bring personality with them.

Mega venue, amazing bed and breakfast, let down by noise and something I shouldn’t have to do myself..
Pros:

Great location, excellent room, huge bed, breakfast amazing

Cons:

Noisy water sounds all night, very poor sound insulation when it comes to other rooms using toilets / showers.
Had to prompt hotel to return security deposit taken at check in, this should be automatic or even held, your just earning free interest off people

Didn't explain when booked we'd be on the other side of the road. Didn't like that I wanted to be in the main hotel. Felt let down by this.
