The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the hotel is in a great spot, the room was one of the best I've ever stayed in, everything was spotlessly clean, the room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Also, I want that shower in my house.
There wasn't anything to dislike.

The location of the hotel was excellent for our short visit to Liverpool.
The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and our room was very comfortable.
We didn’t book breakfast with our original booking but decided we would have breakfast at the hotel. Unfortunately it didn’t go well. Our order was taken and our teas came quite quickly but there was a long wait for food. We noticed that all around us were getting their food even if they arrived after us, so we asked where our order was. It became apparent that our order was never sent through to the kitchen. Another order was placed and the manager came over to apologise. When our food did arrive it wasn’t as ordered. There was an offer to try again but we had by then gone off the whole idea of breakfast!
However, I think that our waitress was new to the job and made a genuine mistake and the manager handled the situation very well so our impression of the hotel and it’s staff remains good & we would definitely stay again.
The staff were professional, friendly and incredibly accommodating. The room décor, fixtures and fittings were amazing, and the tapas dinner was exceptional. Breakfast was lovely too!
Although the gym was small, it was well equipped and more than adequate for a great workout.
I would 110% recommend this hotel to anyone. An excellent experience from start to finish!

The room was very well equiped and laid out. Very comfortable.
The room was great, and a lot of effort had been put in to arrange it well. But, you realised it was a very small room, perfect for one, but I think it would be a bit cramped with two people.
Breakfast is a set menu and a big breakfast (therefore a bit pricey). A varied menu would have been better.
A lovely hotel made me feel very welcome as a.solo traveller. Was given a complimentary room upgrade. Staff warm and friendly. First visit to Liverpool and a great city. Excellent.
Only a couple of minor quibbles. Brought sourdough toast instead of brown. Also given incorrect restaurant bill but this was due to some confusion over my order. Sorted out quickly and politely. All in all an excellent experience.
