Apart from the weather we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful room. Beautiful smell. Food was great. Will stay again.

I’m not one to write reviews. But this stay was honestly so lovely. Great staff, clean room and comfy bed. The main thing I noticed was how lovely it smelt the whole way throughout the building. Smelt gorgeous.

Cons:

Would love if you could set the Heating on a timer as we woke up panting with sweat. It’d be great for it to sort of either switch off when it reaches a decent temperature or to set a timer for a few hours and it goes off.

Excellent stay, great location, friendly staff the breakfast requires improvement.

Excellent location, very clean, friendly staff and good value for money.

Cons:

The only aspect that was sub optimal was the breakfast. The vegan sausages were made to order and were good but overall the breakfast was disappointing. No mushrooms, the tomatoes were tasteless and my wife was very disappointed with the quality of the scrambled eggs and asked for boiled eggs but was told that they could not be prepared.

Pros:

The hotel was lovely, clean & stylish.
Breakfast was hot, tasty, good selection and the staff cleared tables instantly, very good cleanliness.
There are numerous plugs everywhere throughout the canteen, bar & reception areas for charging or using laptops etc.
We were offered an early check in/late check out for becoming a member which was great.
The hotel also had an Uber booking station in reception & umbrellas to hire during your stay.

Cons:

There were only 2 things we were unhappy with. One being the housekeeping knocking our door quite a few times even though the do not disturb sign was placed on the door handle.
The second was the headboard which fell on my head the day we were due to leave. I was sleeping & I had such a bang to the head. We managed to put it back on the wall but with rushing to pack and catch the train we forgot to let reception know for the next guest. We will ring them.
