Good location, but be aware of the loud party vibes on weekend. Staff really friendly, good value.
Pros:

Location-wise it's both brilliant and poor (more on that in a bit). It really depends when you stay. But in terms of activities and central location it's perfect.

Cons:

We stayed over a Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday night was a disaster as there's really loud nightclubs on the street and music booming. It took several hours to fall asleep. Eventually, the music died down by 2am but then, because the windows aren't great at keeping external noise out, you get woken to the sound of singing and drunk people walking home at 5am. Just to say we were on the fourth floor.

Sunday was complete opposite. It was really quiet, no loud clubs and slept perfectly.

So it depends really when you are staying there. Perhaps we also had a room more exposed to noise so if booking perhaps request a room not overlooking the front street.

Pros:

The hotel is situated in the city centre, close to the train station and grocery shopping. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean.

Cons:

They don't have good lighting, especially in the bathroom; there is no lighting near the mirror. The room was not heated, the radiator didn't work.

Spacious room, clean bathroom and great facilities.
Pros:

Location was very convient but was loud outside due to nightclubs

Cons:

The music from the nightclubs kept me up but not much can be done about that 😆

Pros:

Location close to everything. Friendly staff. We had booked rooms with no windows, but were pleasantly surprised to find all 3 rooms had windows
Rooms of good size. Toiletries supplied, with hairdryer and other amenities available from reception.

Cons:

We were 3 couples, all of us found the poor lighting in the rooms difficult. Decor is also dark, making it difficult to find belongings, apply make up, style hair etc.

Room spacious, bed so comfy, staff couldn't do enough, gorgeous Italian coffee available in the bar.
Pros:

The location was very central. The double room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. You could regulate the heat in the room and the black out curtains were very effective. The bathroom and walk in shower was spotless and very modern. The tea/coffee facilities were replenished every morning. The body lotion in the bathroom was a welcome addition.

Cons:

Nothing really! couldn't fault any part of our stay.

Exceeded all expectations!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay! From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spotless, modern, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Pros:

Really good room, comfortable and clean. Brilliant location.

Cons:

With the amazing location comes a lot of noise at night from nearby pubs.
When asking if I could order a cocktail at the hotel bar I got met with a loud sigh from bartender before answering “yeah” as if I had clearly inconvenienced him.

Great stay
Pros:

Le personnel est très gentil.

Le service de conciergerie qui permet de laisser les bagages avant l'heure de checkin.

Le quartier est bruyant mais les chambres sont bien insonorisées - même si en fond on perçoit la musique et du bruit malgré tout.

Cons:

Pas de checkin avant 15H (facturé 10 pounds par heure si checkin plus tôt). C'est abusif surtout que les chambres sont déjà prêtes.

Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il démarre à 7H et il faut choisir un menu sur une carte. Les menus "English" et "Continental" sont gratuits mais certains menus sont en extra tout comme les cafés supplémentaires (vous en avez un gratuit après c'est payant, pourquoi ?). Le buffet en libre accès est limité à des céréales, du pain et des jus de fruits.
