Argo Hotel - Kings Cross

The toilet didn’t have window and the smell can get strong and there’s no elevator. It’s a bit hard to go to the 3rd floor with luggage. But it’s not something that’d make me never go back.

Bed was a little small but definitely doable.

Didn't expect the room to be quite so small! It had everything we needed to use it for sleeping in however as we were out most of the time

Certains ressorts du matelas étaient cassés, ce qui apportait un peu d’inconforts
Il manquerait quelques crochets et cintres pour ranger nos affaires
Le double vitrage manque, les vitres sont trempées le matin et l’air frais rentre très facilement

Mein Zimmer lag im Keller neben dem Eingang, es war allgemein sehr kühl im Zimmer, besonders im Bad war der Boden eiskalt (draußen hatte es 12°C, drinnen nicht viel mehr) ich musste mir ein Handtuch zusätzlich zur Fußmatte nach dem Duschen unterlegen, da es mir sonst zu kalt war.
Im Bad gab es keinen Hacken etc. um etwas aufzuhängen. Alleine konnte ich alles über die Duschwand hängen, aber mein Zimmer war für 4! Personen gedacht. Wie man das dann lösen soll ist mir unklar.
Frühstück war okay, man sollte sich halt nichts erwarten, einfaches Continental.

Mancanza presente elettriche nel bagno

Dalle foto le camere sembravano molto più spaziose, non so se a noi è capitata quella più piccola in assoluto (non avevamo pretese, peró per 5 notti iniziava ad essere stretta dopo un pó, eravamo in 2). Poco spazio per appendere i capi (non c’era un vero e proprio armadio).
Dentro uno dei cassetti dell’appendiabiti non siamo sicuri di cosa fosse (non l’ho di certo toccato) ma probabilmente vi era un paio di pantaloni lasciato da un altro cliente, e questo mi lascia il dubbio sul come viene fatta la pulizia della camera. Ho anche la certezza che le lenzuola non siano state cambiate in quanto una macchia lasciata per sbaglio da noi con il cibo d’asporto è rimasta sempre lì. (Menziono peró che il bagno peró l’abbiamo sempre trovato pulito; unica nota dolente di esso peró era che da lì proveniva già da quando abbiamo messo piede in camera una puzza abbastanza nauseante di fogna. L’abbiamo fatto presente e ci è stato detto che avrebbero verificato. Al nostro ritorno alla sera non l’abbiamo più sentita ma grazie probabilmente a del profumo che avevano utilizzato, perché poi é sempre tornata.

The room was cold and one small heater was not enough to heat it. I had to enter the bed and work there just to warm my feet.

Was a bit noisy as located under the breakfast room, and couldn’t turn bright light off in the vestibule.
