Beautiful location and great ambience created by the staff.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and especially welcoming to our dog! The grounds and building were beautiful and the food was excellent.
Nothing!
The hotel was warm and friendly, the breakfast was beautifully presented.

Beautiful location. Staff were helpful on arrival.
Would have preferred to be in the actual hall. Breakfast staff not so helpful. Knew we had a dog and made us feel like we had leprosy. Put in a very large different room on our own because of the dog.
There were petals that fell out of the bed, which were obviously from the previous occupier. So not sure how well the room was cleaned.
Spectacular location and beautiful lounge/bar areas
Nothing we didn’t like
Die Lage, das Haus und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter

The price/value is excellent. One shouldn’t expect luxury, but a very good quality and high standard of service has been demonstrated during our short stay. The building is charming, the rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. There were tea/coffee appliances and water provided. When we arrived we were greeted by Ron and he was delightfully helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, although quite small, but all the food was fresh and of excellent quality. We especially appreciated a beautiful selection of fresh berries.
Nothing at all.
Beautiful surroundings and lovely facilities
Staff were really helpful
Struggled to park, but directed to a non parking space
Beautiful building and very nice staff
I didn’t like that I can’t pay anything in cash, not even in the restaurant
Lovely place great surroundings

Amazing hotel, very spacious lovely scenery. Staff were very accommodating from the second we walked through the door to leaving. The interior and outside are amazing visit wales a lot and will definitely be staying here again.
Not a single thing the whole experience was amazing
The hotel was in a picturesque setting with plenty of character features and spacious grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our bedroom was meant to be a standard double. However it was the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in many as we are in our early seventies. It was more like a box room or rather a single room with a double bed. There was no bedroom chair or dressing table as there would have been no room to place any furniture. Only one bedside shelf (it tilted and needed securing to the wall) with reading light. My husband had to use the windowsill as his bedside shelf and getting out of bed for him was very restrictive as the bed was pushed against the wall resulting in him having to climb across to get out! We gathered that these rooms are labelled cosy rooms and obviously cheaper. We weren't expecting a luxury room, depicted on their website for what we paid but we were anticipating a standard size double room.
Its a unique building and friendly staff
We booked ok the same day, and were put in one of three room in the parking area which are newly constructed as opposed to the main castle.
