Great stay/ great location
Pros:

Had a lovely stay at the Kabannas
Would definitely stay again
Very affordable, very easy access to the cavern club where we was going.
We also ate here they had a lunch time offer for £10 a pizza and pint. Great offer.
The only different to other hotels is that check in is online and not greeted when you arrive. But if you go to the bar, they are very helpful and will answer any questions you have.

Great location,very clean and modern
Pros:

One of my mates booked this hostel because every hotel was booked up or like £300 a night or above,I was a bit sceptical,we had 9 in our group,on arrival we logged ourselves in and got pass codes with no human interaction(very straightforward),I was very happy with our room, very spacious, walk in shower, very comfortable bed and bunk beds, very clean and modern, the bar downs stairs was pretty good as well,in the morning you can have an optional breakfast buffet for £7:50,all you can eat and drink,I was also impressed with this good quality food, the hostels location is ideal, right in the centre of bars and clubs,I've never been to Liverpool on a night out and I loved it,I'll be going back to this hostel 100%,I actually don't understand why it's a hostel and not a hotel lol,the staff are friendly and the girl on the buffet was so sweet.

Pros:

The area outside is very noisy with partying and people having fun, but once inside my room it was very quiet. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I stayed in an 8-person dorm, and the other people were very quiet and respectful. Comfortable central place to stay.

Pros:

Very central hotel for bars and shops. Noisy at night with the bars and people so would advise taking good earplugs.

Pros:

Style auberge de jeunesse, bien propre, mais l'entertainement au bar qui était affiché sur le site était tout défectueux. Quartier bruyant car gros night life mais ça fait parti de l'expérience

Pros:

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ROOMS EXTREEMELY AND FAR TOO NARROW. THE PRICES CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME - THEY DO TELL YOU THIS; THEY CAN TRIPLE IN PRICE. THE STAFF TALK AMONG THEMSELVES CONTINUOUSLY, EVEN AS ONE OF THEM BOOKS YOU IN OR MAKES A COFFE. THEY HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT'S REQUIRED RE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
MUCH, MUCH WORSE; ON 'QUIET NIGHTS HOMELESS MEN ARE BOOKED IN - THEY ARE TREATED WITH UTTER CONTEMPT - HORRIBLE TO WITNESS. STAFF COME ACCROSS AS ELITIST SNOBS, AS IF THEIRS DON'T S -TK.

Pros:

Pros:

Room has electronic system that requires phone or code to open, this malfunctioned leaving us trapped in the room, we had to call reception to come and let us out, very dangerous system to have in place if fire breaks out. Room was very hot and uncomfortable with no window, requested to move to room with window but was told not available, and given a fan to help, the fan did not work at all, was broken covererd in dust and second night was even worse heat wise with no window and no flowing air, we ended up leaving early to stay at a new hotel as could not tolerate another night without a window or fan. Other guests Very loud and inconsiderate, stopping, shouting and slamming doors throughout both nights we stayed

Pros:

This feels like a hostel disguised as a hotel. Check in and communication with staff is difficult, there's a bar in the back where hotel staff works as bartenders but you would never guess that's who you go to for issues, the place is not the cleanest, and overall it is not worth the price.
I would not stay here again.

Perfectly good hostel dorms
Pros:

I stayed in a 4 bed dorm for one night midweek. Two others stayed in the room and I ended up making quite good acquaintance with one - the power of hostels! The room itself was on the top floor and I found it a little cramped, but with three of us it was fine. Two of the lockers hinges were broken. The en-suite shower room was poorly designed so water goes everywhere. Check-in and access via the online key was easy for me. Others seemed to have issues, but perhaps that’s more a lack of technical literacy than anything else. If you are the kind of person who always has an issue using technology, perhaps book another place rather than wait to be confused and complain. In the small lobby downstairs there is a free coffee machine, which was very welcome in the morning. The location is right in the centre of Liverpool’s action, and that can be good or bad depending on your intentions. From our room the noise of the bars downstairs was audible until about 2am on a Thursday morning. However I was out until about 1am and managed to fall asleep okay, even without ear plugs (although those would be recommended). I wish the hostel would be more upfront about what is provided and what isn’t. Bring a towel and a padlock for the in-room locker, otherwise it’s £3 and £4 respectively. Luggage storage is available for free at check-out, even though the website mentions a charge. All a bit confusing.

Liverpool trip
Pros:

Had 2 night stay 9th to 11th August and found the hotel to be upto our expectations.
The hotel is central for everything a visitor needs. The rooms are good clean, and a comfortable bed with very little outside noise. All staff we came across were helpful and courteous. We did find the digital room key booking in a little confusing but with help managed OK.
Having stayed at a number of liverpool hotels found the Kabannas very good for the price and would definitely recommend.
Thanks

Exactly as advertised.
Pros:

Considering the money I paid for central Liverpool I was very impressed. Room was clean, tea, coffee, kettle. Staff very friendly and helpful. If in Liverpool again this would be my first choice.
