Arrived to door being locked.Had to phone a mobile number to get access.Door code given after payment was taken.
Could do with a general clean throughout.
Doors to rooms obstructed by tables and bedside cabinets.
Think we were the only guests staying for weekend.
Breakfast served 8am-9am.Good variety offered.Dining area could have been better with blinds being opened and soft music in background to kill the silence.
Man who dealt with us over the weekend was polite and eager to please although he seemed the only one doing everything.
It felt like it only opened for our stay and would be closing again once we left.
Arrived to door being locked.Had to ring mobile number to access hotel.Code given for door once we had payed for our stay.Very dated property which could do with a good clean.Only dealt with one person during our stay who seemed to be doing everything. All doors within property were blocked from fully opening due to obstructions in there way,bed cabinets or tables.Breakfast was served in a one hour slot 8am-9am.Good variety offered.
Again dining area could have done with a good clean, blinds being opened and maybe some music to kill the silence. We appeared to be the only guests staying the weekend.
It was as if it was only open for the period of our stay.
Person who worked and dealt with us during our stay was eagerly trying to please but most of this was beyond his control.
Well wasnt what i expected but made the best of a uncomfortable stay
Its advertised as a spa hotel no spa also no bar or restaurant very basic rooms was nice and warm no hairdryer said there was breakfast ok very basic no choice location was excellent
After reading some of the comments bout this hotel we was a bit skeptical but we had nothing to worry about it was fab the room was lovely clean ect the breakfast was fab, the guy who owns it was lovely there wasn't anything bad to say, we came for my daughter's birthday he'd trimmed our room with banners an also there was a card an present for her he really did himself proud, thank u ever so much we'll defin come back nxt Yr 🙂🙂
Fabulous budget stay. Perfect location, just across the road from the Sandcastle and almost next door to the Pleasure Beach. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Included breakfast was a bonus. Highly recommended!
Would not recommend to anybody.Small room, consisting of a set of bunk beds and a small double bed.The toilet only worked when it wanted to.The room was grubby, electrics on one plug was unsafe, When the bedside lamp was turned on it flickered Unplugged the lamp and put into another plug, no flickering, but that plug was wired up to the dodgy plug that we swapped the lamp from.We only used the room to sleep in as we tried to find other accommodation, with no luck.Breakfast was, let's say, left to your imagination.Never had so much grease on a nearly uncooked breakfast. How is this hotel still trading.
It was a great stay. Perfect location for the Pleasure Beach a couple of minutes away.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Room was clean, comfortable, warm.
English breakfast was excellent. Also great value for the booking. Thanks, Stuart and Emily.
When we arrived i called the number on the door, a gentleman answered and told us to come straight in. We checked in with no bother. The gentleman on the front desk was really lovely and was telling us all about areas to visit while we were there. The room was tidy and clean with facilities. Breakfast was lovely and again, the gentleman was so accommodating - cooking up a separate breakfast for the kids. Nothing seemed like too much bother. For the £54 we paid it's tremendous value for money. We will definitely stay again.
We booked in and had to ask about our breakfast. We asked if our car was ok outside after filling in number plate details on a form, to come back to a parking ticket. Staff member said , cars are normally ok outside, but told his boss we didn’t ask for a parking permit, although we filled in form and asked about car being ok outside as well as requesting a parking space as spaces were limited , when booking our stay. Same staff member also said there were car parks near, which cost us another £15 to park and again his boss said he should off told us were to park for free and permits were not needed after 6PM. Same staff member also had no idea which password was for wi if and said it should work. The boss has offered us a free one night stay in the future, but we’re £15 down for parking and minimum of £35 down for parking ticket totalling £50 , more than our original nights stay at the B&B.
Host was pleasant and helpful
Good value for the price we paid
Would return to this property
The room was clean and plenty of loo roll, towels. (some places in blackpool charge for this and towels separate).
The man who booked us in was friendly and showed us up to our room and asked if was ok. Had offered to carry things up to help but we didnt need it.
IF things like matching bedding with curtains bother you then you might not like the place. IF matching towels bother you then you might not like it. TO US the clean room, clean bedding, comfy bed and nice staff were the most important things.
Breakfast was nice too and also included in the price.
Was a great evening at the hypnotist show at the horseshoe bar at the pleasure beach a short few mins walk away.
Would definitely stay again.
Good base for visiting Blackpool, close to the South Pier and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. B&B is good value for money, rooms are clean and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is included which you get the option from a variety of cereals and a cooked full English. On street parking is available outside the hotel for £5 per day as it requires a permit, or you can park a couple of streets away for free. I would definitely return here if I am to visit Blackpool again.
Wifi didn't work had trouble paying with my card on arrival luckily cash accepted. Room clean and tidy toilet difficult to flush, main light in bathroom not working so portable one provided. Bed comfy plenty warm enough. Breakfast cereals out in open boxes, packets rolled down like you would keep in the cupboard however our choice was stale ! Cooked breakfast ok but a bit greasy ! In summary though it certainly fell under "you get what you pay for" description at 54 quid for 3 of us incl breakfast!
We had an excellent stay. Service was amazing, room was a double bed, bunk beds, toilet, shower and tea and coffee perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay. Included breakfast which was lovely and very accommodating for our two children. Would definitely stay again.
Men who working there looks miserable, any greetings..any smile. This hotel needs renovation,We entered to this hotel and the smell of damp was very noticeable. In our room floor was soo squeaking..it was soo hot in our room even window didn't help..the sink kit wasn't even the right size to hold the water...It was impossible to flush the water normally in the toilet because the flush was incorrectly repaired and men who work there didn't like that I mentioned this about this problem.
I visited the property with my 2 kids and their grandad. The property is located within a 2 minute walk of the south pier and 1 minute walk to the pleasure beach. The gentleman running the hotel is extremely welcoming and nothing is any bother to him. The breakfast included in the price is extremlely varied for the price and again nothing is too much bother. A full english is offered and was always well cooked. There is also at least 8 different cereals which my kids loved and toast. Tea, coffee and fruit juice is also included. We had an afternoon train booked on day of checkout and we could even leave our luggage at the hotel until it was time for our train. The room we stayed in was a family room with double bed and bunkbeds. We had an ensuite with shower in the room which was all in working order and plenty towels and toilet roll provided in the room. For what it cost us for 3 nights bed and breakfast it was an absolute steal and perfect base for our holiday. Would definitely recommend and will return again for sure 👌
Perfectly acceptable stay in Blackpool, welcoming staff, good quality breakfast and good value for money
Perfect location for Lytham festival.
Lovely host, great value & great breakfast
