Visiting friends in Dalton-in-Furness, so this accommodation was perfect for us. The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend and will return in the future.

This a beautifully converted old schoolhouse, full of charm and crafted with genuine care. Meeting the owners revealed their passion for the place, with every detail thoughtfully considered and completed to a high standard.

My room lacked natural light due to the original design and small window, but the interior lighting was more than adequate. While the immediate area has little character, it’s only a short drive to the heart of the Lakes and all its attractions. I’ll definitely return when exploring the South lakes.

Nice place to stay, very clean and comfortable. I used the microwave in the kitchenette which was handy as not many places to eat in the area. Contactless check in using lock boxes and a code texted to me prior to arrival.

I had a lovely stay at Chequers Lodge. Easy check in, parking, convenient location and lovely room. I would recommend and stay again.

Room disappointing., very clincal. Booked king room with kitchenette. There is no comfortable seating area. Shower room is good quality and modern. Bed is rock hard and uncomfortable. Kitchenette is lacking most basic items. Cheapest of plastic drinking + wine glasses?. Main door directly onto car park is positioned a couple of feet from the bed, the glass window in + above the door flood in light during the night which is very disturbing.

Beautifully thought out self contained accommodation. Well equipped with nice little extras. Room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, warm and very quiet. On site parking. Easy self check-in system. Good communication with Owner.

Clean very convenient to dining pub

Very modern, clean room, perfect for my 1-night business trip. No restaurant or breakfast available but close to town.
Staff excellent and helped address a booking error on my part, without charge.
Would stay again if in the area.
