Great location for the port, clean and modern. Everything great except the lack of eggs for breakfast at 10:15 (on a Sun
Pros:

Proximity to the port, clean and modern

Cons:

My only gripe is that there were no hot eggs for breakfast as they were finished by 10:15. notmuch use if you don’t eat meat and cold boiled gags are a poor substitute 🤢

I thoroughly checked the room facilities and still did not get a kettle!
Pros:

We visit Plymouth regularly and the location was great for our purposes this time. So thought we'd give Moxy a try. The room was better than I was expecting and also quieter than I was expecting. Good supplies, even down to tissues and hygiene bags. Cleanliness was good overall, though someone had clearly had noodles in the room and it had been missed by housekeeping on the carpet and remote control. The shower was clean, hot and powerful and the air con was very efficient in the heatwave. In a lot of ways, better than anticipated, but let down by no kettle. The ambiance in the bar is lovely and the cocktails were excellent. This hotel is described as dog friendly. I'd describe it more as a hotel for dogs that just about tolerates humans. Music to most ears, as a lot of us love dogs. However, not everyone is going to be comfortable with that.

Cons:

Our stay was totally let down by their inability to supply the promised kettle. We paid more for the dream maker room, primarily because it's the only style that includes a fridge, as well as a kettle. Tea in the room first thing is crucial for me, as I don't eat breakfast. Booking.com states this room type also features a Nespresso machine in addition to the kettle. Great! It even features a photo to this effect. When we arrived, there were mugs for tea and tea bags, etc, but no kettle! The welcome message states that if there's anything they can do to make your stay more comfortable, just let reception know. So I went and asked for a kettle and they said the dream maker doesn't have a kettle - it has a Nespresso machine instead, and not in addition to. They said because of the fridge (which, be warned, is only a mini fridge which you can get nothing in at all unless the shelf is removed) there is no room for a kettle. There was actually; there was even a socket there for a kettle. It was their sullen attitude - they flatly refused to give me a kettle, claiming they had none spare. What do they do if a kettle in a room with one breaks?? Told I must use the coffee machine to get hot water for tea. A coffee pod machine is NOT designed for making tea! It is SO faffy, as you have to press the button 3 times to get a full mug of tea and keep refilling the tank if you want 2 mugs - that will soon wear the machine out! The water does not stay hot for long as from a kettle, and the first cup was always full of coffee grounds. Only 1 socket in reach, and the portable "fridge" could not be moved to another socket elsewhere because it was clipped to the wall! So I had to unplug the fridge every time I wanted a tea to plug the coffee maker in. Then the fridge rapidly warmed up. Not relaxing! The hotel should correct the misleading information OR supply a kettle. And be nicer about it! I'd like to stay again, but the attitude has really put me off.

Fantastic as always minus the TV
Pros:

Always a lovely stay, the staff are great, the rooms are always clean and atmosphere of the whole hotel is a joy to be in. And with this heat the air con was a god send.

Cons:

The TV didn't work our whole stay couldn't get it to connect to any channel or Internet. Which wasn't a major problem for us as we where only in the room late at night.
