Good location, room was very basic but was OK, staff was overwhelmed because many people waited for their room

Asked in advance about check-in times and got an answer that checking in time is 3 PM, arrived 10 minutes before that and was told the room will be ready in 10 minutes

Eventually got the room after 4 PM and lost very valuable time in my short 1 day vacation in London

Asked about late checkout and was refused

I wouldn’t rush there!

Our room itself was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

The check in process was AWFUL!! I’d tried to booked an early check in but told they couldn’t do that but to try on the day. Arrived at 1.30 room not ready. Fair enough. Came back at 3pm (check in time) room STILL not ready. We then had to wait until gone 4pm to get into our room. We were not the only ones waiting! We’d hoped to drop bags and head to a concert but were significantly delayed due to this. The staff gave no reasons why our room was not ready.

When we got in our room there was 1 measly tea bag for a group stay.

Pros:

The location ia great as the Marble Arch is a city important point of reference.
It is near the Tube, access to bus stops and within walking distance to many attractions.
Also the hotel is close to great restaurants.
The staff was very attentive and helpful when I needed their help or advice.
