Important information:

The Garden Café is currently operating a limited service for Food & Beverage. Breakfast is continental only, grab and go breakfast can also be provided on request. Full English Country Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer a small selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks. Please contact the property for further information. We do not currently have a Bar or Restaurant available in The Manor House Building.

We are able to accommodate small toy dogs (Under 10kg) on request in our Garden Rooms only. A supplement of £20.00 per night is applicable and paid direct to the property on check in. Dogs are not permitted in The Club, The Hayloft Spa or Garden Café for hygiene reasons. Please inform us in advance if you will be brining a dog. Please note cats or any other type of pet will not be accommodated under any circumstances. Guide & Service Dogs are exempt from this policy and charges on production of correct paperwork.

The Garden Double Rooms are located in a separate Annex Building and not the main Manor House. Not recommended for lone female travelers.

Children's Swimming times are as follows: Monday to Friday 4pm to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9.30am till 10.30am and 4pm till 5pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
If you require an invoice when booking a prepaid rate, write this and your company details in the Special Requests box.
In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.
This property might host on-site functions, so noise may be audible in some rooms.

Nice comfortable stay.
Pros:

Very good as a quick one night stop-over on way elsewhere.
Pros:

I'd requested a twin room via Booking.com but on arrival a king sized bed had been arranged. However staff quickly changed things and offered us free drinks while we waited as I was able to prove what I'd originally ordered. Would stay again though. Didn't have breakfast.

Cons:

Dining room probably needs an upgrade

not happy with food
Pros:

spa was good

Cons:

the food was absolutely terrible. out of date items for breakfast, staff didn't turn up until 0800 when it should have started at 0730, when they did they looked un washed and straight out of bed.

Magical couple of days
Pros:

Accommodation was great, spa experience excellent but pool was soooo cold.
Grounds were lovely.
Staff very good.
Location great, easy to find.

Cons:

Warmer pool,
Evening menu, you need to know that they are actually selling food. Not well advertised.

Pros:

The building is beautiful.
The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room was in an annexe , far out of the way.
Very dated room and inside the main building This could be a lovely hotel but is in need of money being spent on it.,
To buy drinks, we had to ask several times to be served.
We were so disappointed that we did not stay for breakfast or tried the facilities.

Overall an enjoyable stay, did not have breakfast there but had an evening meal which was basic.
Pros:

The location for our requirement was excellent. The building was impressive but needed a little uplift.

Cons:

The linen could have been better.
The dinning room had a cold atmosphere particularly due to the cold lighting. The meal was not to a standard expected.

Lovely place fundamentally obv lacking a little spare cash to develop to its full potential

The free spa and parking . Nice staff try hard.
Histrionic building and grounds kept very original.

Cons:

Poor signage should say hotel reception or guests check in at spa - where to park - should be one way system. Lovely place should be telling its story and history as you walk around - few more painting and it’s dead silent no background music or tv on walls , no lounge area marked up you just seem to have to wonder around and find your way?! Menu limited no add ons or starters . A few cheap upgrades missing . Jet wash the old tennis court looks a mess !!
