As a contractor this is a great place to stay
Easy to find, lovely location on the marina. Good selection of food for dinner and buffet breakfast. Clean comfy room. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely location and friendly staff. A bit rough around the edges but pretty good for the money!
Good value for money
It was great. Nothing to complain about
Very noisy when guest who was above us was walking around their room. Had to ask twice for soap replenishment in bathroom and 2nd bed was not made up on arrival. This was then rectified on request.
Comfortable room. Affordable. Free parking (great!) restaurant serving good food, wide variety.
Food was delicious
we Booked for 3 nights at the property but we checked out after the first night and went to an alternative hotel which cost us again. when we arrived we were asked to pay a £50 deposit for each room, we had 2 rooms. we were given an accessible room for both which we did not require and we found the room and the bathroom to be very tired and in need of upgrade, especially for the price we paid. we had to close the curtains as someone was sat in their car staring into our room ( strangely he will still there in the morning ) there was a lot of drunken people around and when we went to bed all we could hear was people screaming and shouting at each other. All night there was a lot of noise you could hear people walking around. Maybe we were really unlucky and its not always like this but I definitely could not stay there a moment longer.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable for our overnight stop whilst travelling north.
A £50 holding fee just in case there are damages......... This needs to be stipulated at time of booking that a hopding fee will be required.
Stayed for one night ,staff amazing ,room very spacious, bed not to our liking too soft but thats a personal choice ,evening food and breakfast taken with no complaints
Hotel was ok Issue With Sewage Problem In Toilet Had To Keep Bathroom Door Shut When Told Reception About Problem They Wasn't Bothered Didn't Even Have The Decency To Change Our Room Staff Was Moody Not Very Helpfull , Then To Top It All Telling Us A Completely Different Price We Had To Pay From What Expedia Had Gave Us In March ( Pay At The Hotel ) When Booked Rooms I Felt Like I Was Being Fleeced To Cut A Long Story Short we Payed What Our Confirmation Said As They Could Not Get A Way From THAT /
Great place to stay. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
Very nice hotel will stay again. The only thing i can say is the continental breakfast was not great very small options on the continental side.
The hotel was great the staff also in the hotel,
However breakfast was not so good, i have copd so had just git ready fir breakfast, this can take it out of me, i went to breakfast was greated by the lady on this day 31st July 25, she was polite at first, there was several male guests having breakfast at this time, and a very smal breakfast area, the lady straight away wanted my breakfast order, i asked if i could sit down! The reaction to this from the lady was very negative, she did not have to answer, which she didn't just a gesture with her had to the table, her face said all, like i said i have copd so i was feeling a little light headed,
I do think to show someone to a seat/ table would be more appropriate, i was then sat in front of several male guests which made me uncomfortable being a lone lady traveller, i do think a customer service course would be good,
Its a shame as i had spoken to my husband the night before on how nice the hotel and restaurant n bar was,
Room extremely warm, cleanliness not the best. Service at dinner was very slow and dessert was forgotten about.
Trish was so helpful and made our stay so relaxing and easy
Nothing was too much trouble
Excellent, friendly, responsive staff. Good location. Nice pub. Room was adequate for our needs. Only wish there were more available power wall sockets.
Really friendly staff. Next door pub quite good. No air conditioning.
