Nicely furnished hotel in a good location let down by lack of basic maintainence
Pros:

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, fresh food, and staff at breakfast was very efficient and friendly.

Cons:

Strong smell of drains in bathroom, reported to reception but nothing done about it. Shower flooded bathroom before suddenly draining and releasing smell again.
TV didnt work at all, stuck on one channel and no volume could be adjusted. Reported to reception but again nothing done about it and so had no tv for the 2nts we stayed.
Despite parking being available, it was not made clear that when front car park is full (only 3 spaces) disabled guests were expected to walk up/ down steps to access the hotel and that the back doors were closed. When rang reception to get in, was told to walk round to front of hotel in a very unwelcoming attitude before reluctantly letting us in.

Overall a very dissapointing stay and wont return

More issues than good points. Not worth the money.
Pros:

Location was good. Hotel was clean and the suit was comfortable.
Staff were friendly and polite.

Cons:

The toilet didn’t work properly and took a lot of messing around to get to flush.
The tv would only play three channels and anything else was just sound and a blank screen.
There was no food served in the evening.
There were plenty of cheaper hotels that had better facilities.

Pros:

The hotel was pretty quiet at night. The staff are very professional, hard-working, and friendly. A good selection of food at breakfast. It's a 5-minute walk from the coast and the high street shops.

Cons:

the first night, I got a little cold in bed. The problem was quickly resolved the next day.
The toilet didn't flush effectively.

Good stay
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable and we could open the window.
Staff were friendly without being too overbearing.

Cons:

We liked everything, but noticed that some of the mosaic tiles in the bathroom were suffering from a build up of limescale and soap residue, etc. In the shower.
