Smart choice for a quiet night and super meal near to the city!
Pros:

Chic decor, great location, super bed and towels/products. Easy access independent of the restaurant. Great service team super welcoming. 24hr parking at Chesil car park 2 mins away.

Cons:

Nothing. Theres no breakfast on offer on site but lunch and dinner is served almost every day.

Perfectly designed rooms in a good location.
Pros:

Perfect rooms, clean, comfortable and great value. The location is central with easy access to all the sights of Winchester. Parking in the local multi story car park is free after 6pm until 8am. Good check in with welcoming staff.

Too hot and noisy, but otherwise good
Pros:

Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Well situated close to multi-storey car park for easy parking and good access to city centre. Staff very polite and friendly.

Cons:

No air conditioning (should have read the small print!) on hottest week in 50 years, and on main street- extremely noisy with windows open and got very little sleep as result- not property’s fault, but just beware when booking. Think it would be much better in winter!

Great stay above a japanese restaurant
Pros:

Great spacious room, nicely styled and friendly staff.

Cons:

Absence of a water cooker for the tea (had to make due with the nespresso machine) and the noise of the busy road outside.

Not a hotel, more of a self-service airbnb
Pros:

Well located and quite clean

Cons:

This is not a hotel, it's like an Airbnb, according to the gent who checked us in. We asked in advance if we could drop luggage off at 11am, they said sure. But no one was there to accept the luggage. We were lucky the cleaner happened to walk by as we were on the sidewalk. Then they tell us no one is in the building in the AM for a luggage service to pick up the suitcase.
Room was hot and stuffy even though it wasn't a hot day. Pillows quite uncomfortable.
It's a good value, but you get what you pay for. Would not stay here again

Definitely recommended
Pros:

The room was spacious, with a couch. Large bed, plenty of room and storage. Really nice shower. Very quiet too. Very comfortable, staff were amazing. Really loved it and would definitely use again without hesitation.

Very close to amenities which was a bonus.

We ate in the amazing restaurant one evening and that was such a treat too.

Cons:

Nothing.

Kyoto rooms Winchester
Pros:

The staff were kind and helpful, and the location is excellent for the city centre. Our room was very large and comfortable. We were walking the 3 Castles Way, and were soaked when we arrived, but the staff were totally unphased by our appearance.

Cons:

The hotel is at quite a busy intersection, but the windows are well double glazed and the noise was not an issue.

An excellent place to stay when visiting Winchester..
Pros:

Great location if you want to stay in Winchester. It is a very short walk to the Cathedral and beautiful surrounding area as well as the shops and restaurants. The Chesil multi storey car park is only 2 minutes walk from the Kyoto.
The staff were great, welcoming and helpful. The room was on the front of the property and was spacious and well decorated and equipped. It was also excellent value for money when compared to the alternatives that we considered.
When we next visit Winchester we will use Kyoto again.

Cons:

The room we had was on the front of the property and consequently you get noise from the traffic. That said we had a great time.

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff. Let us come in out of the rain before the official check in time.

Cons:

We watched 2 you tube videos and could still not work the coffee machine! Would have preferred a kettle, or a laminated instructions sheet. Found a lovely coffee shop nearby.
