Just a fantastic property the old and new works very well.
All Excellent.
Great location, excellent food and friendly, helpful staff.
Room was clean and comfortable but surprisingly small for the price paid.
What breakfast? I did not want anything cooked and asked for cereal but they did not have any! This was made worse by the fact there is a store across the street that surely must have sold cornflakes but it seemed beyond the capability of the girl serving to go and get some. So, in the absence of any cereal, we settled on croissants (plural) and when it (singular) did arrive it was dry and stale.
The room was nice enough but tiny compared to the size of the bed.
Really friendly helpful staff. Room was large and comfortable. Great comfy bed nice touch of a coffee machine
Our room was above the kitchen you can hear everything and the slamming of the door shook the room
Great
Nothing
Great location for exploring the Peak District. The friendly staff make this place. Our room was comfortable and well decorated, although quite compact. Nice and quiet. Big carpark. The breakfast and restaurant meals were very good. I’m sure we will return.
Nothing to dislike.
Friendly, from the moment we entered the reception everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The lounge was lovely with a beautiful wood burner. The hotel was really well maintained and finished to the highest standard. Plenty of parking available on site. Food looked gorgeous and the restaurant was really busy even out of season. We did have breakfast which was delicious. Loved it and am counting the days until we can go back.
Nothing we didn’t like but we only stayed for one night in “The Wye,” if you stay longer you might find this room a little tight.
Lovely area, hotel very nicely revamped recently, food locally sorced and quality great.
Nice buzz about it.
Nothing springs to mind. 😁
Location is perfect to explore Bakewell and surroundinf areas, as well as the pretty village of Ashford in the Water. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with good facilities. The bar area is cosey and inviting and the full English is one of the best I've had.
Our room was advertised as a deluxe kingsize, and whilst the room was beautiful, it was very small compared to how it was marketed (although I didn't look at the dimensions, I took the headline as a measure of size). Getting out my side of the bed was tight navigating the fireplace and dressing table at the end of the bed. The noise from the bar area does carry but didn't disturb our sleep. I think the price was a little high having seen the size of the room, but equally quality of facilities and breakfast were good.
The staff were super friendly and very helpful , the food was absolutely superb , the room was lovely and the shower is just what we needed after a long drive, there is nothing to complain about, we will be staying again for sure!
Everything! Atmosphere, decor, friendly staff, wonderful food and service!!!
