Good location for shopping and town centre good the groups of adults but not for family

Where to begin.
One month later and our security deposit has been returned I think I am now safe to offer my honest feedback.
'Paint it black, but put a chandelier in the bathroom' seemed to be the decor instruction. All black tiles, pinned cushion, floor ceiling. Looks cool in the photos, close up you see everything is grubby. Would be great for doing lines off, or for a porn set. Many fixtures in bathroom broken. Strangely, kitchen was very well stocked, with DOZENS of cutlery sets.
Speaking of porn set...if the noise of early morning loudspeakers outside our window to deter the youth from loitering was bad enough, the sound of frequent loud...and I mean loud shagging in the room next door at 6pm, midnight and 6 a.m. was quite tricky to explain to the kids. Luckily the TV could be turned up. The poor security guy was very helpful in response to our midnight request to ask the neighbours to keep it down.
The 🔥 alarm was weird. It went off and no one did anything. Poor young woman on the front desk appeared to be talking to the owner on the phone who seemed to be instructing her on how to turn it off. Given the constant aroma of weed outside our room, I can't say I was confident there was NOT a fire. Apparently the alarm 'just does that sometimes.' God help anyone if there was a fire, - staff appeared under trained and resourced.
Overall, if you're a location scout for the adult movie scene, an escort, or a dealer, you've hit the jackpot. If you're a family of five naively believing closer to the Cavern etc is better, I would advise you to avoid, and not be fooled by the word 'boutique'.
Credit where credit is due, staff were friendly and helpful. And the kids, completely unaware of these issues, loved it.

DAVE! He was so considerate by letting us checked in early, having kids woke up very early was so exhausting. We are so delighted we got a chance to go back to bed before heading off. the location is very centra,l the beatles pub which is a tourist attraction is only behind the building. 5 mins walk to the mall. The room was so huge! The mini kitchen was a big help for a family. Jacuzzi! A big plus!.

Room was not the most stylish advertised and smelt of stale smoke. Had to take photos just in case they refused to give deposit back which be warned is steep and not paid back from anywhere between 10 and 30 days !! (£50 per person) - still waiting but the manager called me after and was very helpful so thanks Craig.
Nothing staff where doorman no one on reception when we arrived
The fact that me or my wife quit smoking 3 years ago when a family member pass away with cancer they told us only when we booked the second week that we'd lost our deposit of £100 because they found cigarettes in our bin big fat lie we contested this when we rebooked which in hind sight couldn't of but we was out partying and thats the only type of establishment in liverpool that would take people of the the street for the right deposit an then lie to them so they wouldn't get it back feel sorry for them they must need to scam people from there deposits to pay the juice heads on the door heard a few people say something similar never book again stay well away and that fella with long blonde who cleans the rooms is so rude he or she should go for a few courses on how to deal with the paying public all in all it's ran like a brass house
