Perfect location to explore Whitstable and the surrounding area. Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. Decor is beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic.
No parking - although Victoria Street carpark is 2 moms walk away but factor in charge if you’re parked up all day and evening (approx £20)
The location was perfect, all the staff were lovely. Booked last minute for a little 1 night break, the room was perfect for my needs, the breakfast was lovely and the evening meal was really really good too. Would stay again for sure.
Nothing I can think of!
Loved the room, great location, great food.
Breakfast was lovely
And the location was they central for the beech and shops and over bars
There isn’t any thing a can think of
Great location lovely breakfast friendly staff
The room we had was an awkward shape and not much room on my side of the bed compared to the room we last stayed in but it was cheaper so can understand the compromise.
The location was excellent, the room very bright and the bed very comfortable, the coffee and tea service in the room with perfect tap water, the fantastic TV screen in front of the bed.
First of all, I called the night before to confirm the room, also asking what time check-in would be, a guy on the phone told me that it could be done before 3:00 PM since I would arrive around 11:00 AM. Upon arrival at the hotel, the girl in charge of the rooms told me that the room would not be ready before 3:00 PM. Okay, we're leaving to return around 2:00 PM more or less and they didn't know what to say. Even though the guy at reception said that some rooms were free, okay, when we go up to the room, the lady tells us the breakfast time without even pointing out that breakfast is not a buffet but an à la carte service. If I had known that it was a service, I would have gotten up later. After all this, there wasn't even a jug of water on the breakfast table, because I asked for water automatically, another glass with water was brought to me when the jug should be brought because I don't think the glasses are placed on the table in sight.
Lovely decoration very welcoming
Could see an issue with noise from garden pub in summer stats carpet was a bit stained but rest of room was lovely
Well taken care of with last-minute booking. Friendly, kind and helpful staff. And great to be back in a town by the sea where I spent time in the past. Was meeting friends later that day.
Excellent location. Lovely room and building. We had a really nice stay. Nice complimentary local beer in the room and a well stocked coffee/ tea offer. Great drinks service to the room with QR code and very quick arrival! The toiletries were lovely and Made in England which is a really nice detail.
Nothing that we didn't like. Two small bits of feedback: it would be nice to have a few food items on offer for room service, alongside the drinks offer. Also, to have some of the lovely body lotion in the bathroom.
Option of a continental breakfast would have been nice.
Restaurant/bar food very good.
Staff very helpful, efficient and friendly
Bedroom on third floor. A lot of stairs to climb for mid 70’s couple one of whom had double knee replacement! Very small bedroom.
Location also a very comfortable and clean room
No parking
Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good, and the bar welcoming.
The stairs to the rooms were steep and would not be easy for all. Parking was a difficulty. Public car parks had to be used and these were close and safe, but very expensive.
