Terrible experience, avoid. Premium price, low grade service and facilities. Promised a welcome drink on arrival would be sent to my room, never arrived. Promised personal concierge on each floor, nope. Cold shower this morning. Electric curtains do not work. And then a 'hidden' £20 "service charge" added to the bill (and subsequently removed when I challenged it). Tried to provide feedback this morning on departure, "please wait, a manager will come and talk to you"......followed by a long wait, and then no manager as "they are very busy", they will email you.....which they did not. Smoke, mirrors, laughable price for this level of 'service'.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure you had what you needed. They even gave me an iPhone charger when I realized I didn’t pack one. The hotel gives a luxurious vibe. There is a club, restaurants and two bars on site. My only regret is not having more time to enjoy all of what the hotel has to offer!!! I will stay here next time I’m in London.

Everything was great apart from no hot water in the shower. I asked them to fix it and they sent a technician who stated it was fixed. The next morning water was running cold again. So basically couldn’t have a shower

I really liked the hotel itself and the room design. Unfortunately, our stay was derailed by repeated fire alarms at around 3:00 a.m. in our room and along our floor, which kept us awake. There was also a high-pitched noise inside the room that came and went in cycles, lasting about 10 minutes then stopping for roughly 30 minutes before returning. When I raised both issues with the duty receptionist on Sunday morning, 28 September 2025, I was told there was nothing they could do. The combination of lost sleep and a dismissive response left a poor impression. I would consider returning because the property is great, but only if management addresses these faults and takes guest concerns seriously.

Great location, nice hotel, comfortable rooms but not sure about value for money. Rather expensive for what it offers and the fact they do not have a formal reception complicates things.

Asked each day for someone to go fix the bathroom sliding door, without solutions or even follow up, as people changed daily.

I recently enjoyed a three-night stay at The BoTree in July and was thoroughly impressed. I booked the Wigmore Suite, which was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully appointed, and provided a quiet retreat in the heart of London. The hotel’s location is ideal—convenient to many attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet remarkably peaceful. The staff were professional, attentive, and ensured that every detail of my stay was seamless. I will certainly return to The BoTree on my next visit to London and highly recommend it to others seeking both luxury and tranquility.

The room was cleaned and a gift was left everyday including a bottle of champagne. We ever recommended it to a friend who’s coming later.

I stayed at The Botree recently and overall had a very good experience. Location is excellent — close to the main attractions, restaurants, and easy public transport access. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with stylish décor and a pleasant vibe throughout the property. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, and everything felt modern. Surprisingly quiet given the central location. Staff were friendly, professional and responsive.

The only area that didn’t quite match the rest was breakfast. The selection was limited. With a bit more variety and freshness, breakfast could easily be brought up to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel.

our greeting/check-in here was great and the room was comfortable. the location wasn't our favorite, but it was close to a tube station so getting to and from the airpot was super easy. the only real hiccup was that we pre-ordered breakfast room service because we had to catch a flight and the food never showed up. when we called to check on it after 15 minutes, we we're told it would take another 15 minutes for someone to check on it and were hung up on. no one called us back, so we had to leave to catch our flight. the hotel did reach out afterwards and offered us a free breakfast on our next stay, but we won't be staying there again.

Staff were friendly and hotel was very clean and well kept. The concierge was very helpful and so was the manager. Will definitely stay again when I am in London next.

The BoTree was absolute perfection! We stayed in a Deluxe Double room and it was the perfect size for the two of us. The room was beyond clean, comfortable, and decor was just stunning! The bathroom area was well laid-out and the shower was extraordinary.

There ended up being construction going on in the hotel for the majority of our stay. I can say, with pleasure, that initially I was not pleased when my guest notified me prior to my arrival. However, the staff informed me that it would commence at 10:00 and conclude around the dinner hour. Totally fine, as we were awake by 10:00 am. Not to mention, they literally think of everything to ensure your stay is stunning. I cannot wait to return!

I will add that the location was the absolute best. Safe, clean, convenient!

The Botree is in the perfect location. Walk to shopping, restaurants and transportation. The clean, modern style is what I look for at any hotel. The only complaint is the check in process that is becoming common at many hotels. There is no check-in desk. The staff will sit with you on a sofa in the lobby checking you in on an ipad. With that said I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else in London.
