Beautiful setting with top class service
Pros:

The location was fantastic, close to everything on Alona beach and nice to be on the end of the beach so it was a bit calmer. The room was very spacious and staff were super friendly. Great happy hours at the skybar pool and a beautiful view from there too.

Cons:

The buffet was alright, and the coffee could be improved (its also needed to pay extra for a cappucino). Also, the TV was not able to connect to wifi which meant we could only watch channels (no netflix, youtube etc.).

Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Pools waren auch super.
Die Lage war sehr gut, wenngleich es schönere Strände auf den Philippinen gibt.
Alles war sehr sauber.

Cons:

Ohne Kinder würde ich das Resort nicht empfehlen, da es sehr viele Kinder gab und diese auch in allen Pools waren. Es wäre schön, wenn es einen kinderfreien Bereich gäbe. Es gibt genug Pools, das wäre daher kein Problem und man könnte auch ohne Lärm entspannen bzw. schwimmen.
Die Wände sind sehr dünn, sodass man sehr viel von nebenan hört (Wecker vom Nachbarzimmer beispielsweise.)

Great place overall for a relaxing stay next to the sea and few bars

Ble for mye barn og bråk i og rundt bassengene, de har såpass mange bassenger at de burde låst det ene bar bassenget på taket som en voksen basseng.

Not really 5 Star Hotel
Pros:

The room was okay and clean. They refilled the water for free every day. The breakfast is rich and the breakfast service is superb. There is no shower on the beach.

Cons:

We were here for 3 nights, we paid 720€, so it's a lot for the Philippines, but it's far from a 5 star hotel. We got our first slap in the face at the reception. Some girls are not very nice, direct and forcefull. The food in the restaurant is not a hit. almost everything is fried, pasta and pizza. My husband and I decided to go to the gym. The first time a gentleman came and said that it was not possible to be on the belt without shoes, which my husband accepted and went to the room to get shoes. The second time a woman came and told my husband that he could not be without a shirt. Unfortunately, this was not written in the gym rules on the wall and it would have been good to write it there. That way we wouldn't get into any discussion.
We wanted to book a massage, but the lady at the reception instead put the phone in my hand and told me to make an appointment with the spa myself.

Pros:

Everything was great! Especially Lloyd, who looked after us at the Pool Sky Bar on Saturday. The breakfast was also great, good selection.
