Love the amazing view of infinity pools at level 37. Easy access to foods and shopping mall walking distance. I really enjoyed staying at Sleeping Lion!
Great location. Fantastic room view. Clean. No foods available in hotel. No weight scale.
Ideal location for city tour.
Everything in here was so perfect. 3 nights have stayed here i felt like a home. From designs, staffs and services they were excellent. I think i will recommend to everyone who has a plan to visit here.❤️
My Group Client from Indonesia
28-31 October 25
Thank you sleeping lion for providing such 5 star service. me and my business friend Mr. İskandar is relieved because our clients from Indonesia quite like staying in the sleeping lion and are satisfied, the room is beautiful and comfortable, excellent 👍🏼. recommend from Mr. Ian to choose the premier room. is a wise choice.. 👌level 32-36 close to the swimming pool infinity. my client likes the vibe given by the friendly housekeeping workers, the front office staff always gives us directions, and to Mr. Ian thanks to handle my client A to Z , everything smooth easy communicated with you and I really appreciate it because you are patient in serving last minute requests and you can complete it...it's a pleasure to deal with you, speak softly. we can ask you to get a corporate rate price? overall so I'm rating it 4.9 stars 👍🏼good job.. event i’m not check in , my client check in but excellent..see you soon.
This hotel delivers exactly what it promises—a definitive 3-star experience. I stayed in a twin room and found that while the hotel excels in location and budget, there are some clear trade-offs in service infrastructure.
For a property with more than 900 rooms, the reception area feels surprisingly small. At check-in, only two counters were open, and guests were given a ticket to wait for their turn. This system, combined with the small space, made the initial arrival feel slow and congested.
The room itself was very basic, as expected from a hotel in this category, but the overall size was good. The main drawback was the sleeping arrangement: the twin beds are quite small, unlike the super single size typically offered by similar establishments. Amenities are minimal; there is no full restaurant, just a small cafe.
However, the strongest selling point is, without a doubt, the location. It is excellent, right in the heart of the busy shopping and dining hub of Bukit Bintang.
Conclusion: If you are on a budget and simply looking for a room to sleep in a central area, this hotel meets those needs perfectly.
Our recent stay at this hotel was truly outstanding and far exceeded my expectations for the price. The staff are friendly and make our check-in seamless. The room was clean, spacious, and felt like a true retreat. The location is perfect, being just a few minutes' walk from most of the famous shopping malls. The lighting is soft, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool elevates the stay from a simple trip to a genuine resort experience. The lobby is always crowded, but the room is quiet at night. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting KL. We can't wait to return!
Great stay

GOOD HOTEL
Usually fully occupied with Chinese PRCs and Indonesian tourists. The location is excellent since it is a stone throw from Bukit Bintang, the shopping belt in KL. However, there are insufficient spaces for seating during the busy check-in hours. One need to collect a queue number and wait for the queue ticket to be served. This can take a while during peak hours. The lift unfortunately is slow and requires queuing as well.
Our room on Level 25 has an excellent view overlooking Bt. Bintang and the Medeka 118 tower as well as the KL tower and the TRX building. The view is spectacular especially with the lightings at night.
The toilet flushing sound from our neighboring unit can be clearly heard and we wondered if we are also disturbing them in the middle of the night. Water pressure is good and aircon is powerful since this is a relatively new establishment. Will consider again for future stays.
Spacious, clean rooms with an incredible rooftop pool.
The people were very friendly and the property was clean.
Fridge is working but not cold at all. Requested for 2 towels as i have 2 kids with me, and were given for 3 nights. Great that they have rubbish bin in the room and the toilet, however would be better if they supplied extra bin liner beneath. Great warm water for shower. Swimming pool closes at 8pm and comes with a stunning view. No eating by the pool side. Though floors could get really slippery. No breakfast but there is a cafe beside lobby which closes early. Check in was a breeze when we came in, as we did not need to take a Q number. But if peak, you might have to take a Q number. Lobby is always full of guests. Quite pissed off with certain group of travellers, they could just squeeze in and sit on your bag. Had to "snatch" my bag away from her stinking butt. Smoking area is right outside the lobby. Walking distance to pavilion. Convenience store, pharmacy and money changer is 5 mins away. Going down during check out hours was quite a bummer as we had to wait for 3 to 4 lifts to passed before we could get in during peak hours. Front desk staffs were great and helpful, especially melvin.
The check in was awful, the lobby is chaos, I felt ignored.
The rooms are nice enough
The rooftop pool is small and busy at sunset but the views are amazing
Overall a decent stay once we'd checked in
This is my second time stay at here. First time overall is good but at the second time when im check in the front office staff told me i must pay rm 10. I dont know for what because he speak to fast but i remember they said for tourist must pay. And then ohh i think this is for deposit. Next day when im check out another staff didn’t tell anything. Please malaysian people your service must be improve.
A very clean & comfortable room assigned.
In fact I could stay indoor throughout the day.
Bed was very comfortable as I slept very well waking up fresh.
The check-in and the room? Absolutely fine. No complaints there. The real adventure, however, began with the lifts.
The hotel was packed, and the lifts clearly weren’t designed for this level of human traffic. We were on the 12th floor, and on our very first day, we spent a solid 20 minutes waiting, with elderly family members and a small child, just to catch a lift.
Eventually, we gave up waiting for one going down and just jumped into one going up, figuring it’s better to move than to grow roots in the hallway. That’s when we had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman inside the lift who decided it was the perfect time to deliver a TED Talk on patience, while scolding us for supposedly delaying his journey. Apparently, after waiting 20+ minutes himself, he had mastered the art of waiting and wanted us to feel bad for still learning.
How the hotel plans to solve this, is a mystery. But hey, if you're someone who thrives on fast service and efficient elevator rides, or if you don’t enjoy passive-aggressive lectures from fellow guests, maybe think twice before booking here.
