Easy check in- someone was there when we arrived to help

Worst stay so far in Asia for me. So many complaints! They don’t respond to messages on booking.com. I’ve send several with a question. The WiFi didn’t work at all so I went through all my data (I was on the 3rd floor, I couldn’t find that network so I had to use the one of the 2nd that kept popping out). The girl behind the reception couldn’t tell me anything about the best way to go to George Town and when I asked her advise for sight seeing she could only give me the WhatsApp of a tour agency. I was on the 3rd floor (top floor) and they left the curtains open, making it incredibly hot and taking such a long time to cool down with airconditioning. They have a machine for check in and check out where you have to wait such a long time before it comes out and that while the girl behind the reception is free to help. I had problems getting into the room, the door is with an electric card and it kept saying ‘battery low’ and apparently there’s a certain way to do it but they don’t tell you that. It was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

Short distance to major eateries. Affordable price. Near train station. Affordable price.

Cons:

Tried Family Room (double bed + single bed) for first time. Way inferior to double room or twin room. Air con right above bed. Doesn't blow at ones sleeping, so it's hot especially during heat wave. Very few plugs. No place to put luggage like shelves or cupboards or something. I love this hotel, but I'm never going for Family Room again.

Convenient for very short stay

Not sound proof, too noisy even a step of people passing by, very very low water pressure, machine check in waited for too long due to human faulty (the card was not inside the machine, it’s in another place so the staff need to take the access card and place in the machine then only i can get my access card, they provide only shampoo
