Single room was small , with bunk on upper tier.
Own AC . Quiet , except for some noise from another AC somewhere.
Loved rooftop pool.
Garden space by entrance to sit or eat.

Helpful staff.
Slept well .

A nice and convenient budget stay with friendly staff and good facilities, but the space is quite compact

A swing and a miss unfortunately…
Pros:

Complimentary ice tea was delicious and refreshing.

Location was close to several large shopping centres and a short walk from Hang Tuah Metro station.

We felt this property had significant potential as the building was impressive and has an initial wow factor (which quickly dissipates).

Cons:

After travelling Asia for seven months in similar budget priced rooms, this was our worst value for money/comfort.

Our Budget Double room was barely larger than the mattress itself, a challenge for two people to even change at the same time let alone store your luggage (we only have two carry on sized bags). On the positive side the AC cooled the room very quickly as it was tiny.

The number of rooms and guests crammed into this property is insane, there are perhaps 8 mattress sized rooms where there should maybe be half of that and this posed a significant problem for sound proofing. We also looked at the dorms out of curiosity and these were similarly jam packed single capsule style sleeping arrangements.

Towels were not included in the price of our room and could be ‘rented’ for an additional fee that was not refunded. We have not come across this before and were surprised.

The toilets, while well maintained and cleaned fairly frequently, smelt very bad, this was likely linked to the drains but very unpleasant.

We do not suggest taking up the guest breakfast offer at the adjoined restaurant, the eggs were okay but both the sausages and flat bread were very strange.

We also felt that staff were not the friendliest and seemed fairly disinterested in assisting us on reception when we checked in, enquired about laundry and later checked out.

As mentioned, we felt there was a lot of potential for this property but sadly it falls short of what you would expect. If you still want to stay, we strongly advise upgrading your room to have more space and a private bathroom.
