Good food in the restaurant.

Cons:

Location not great. 15 mins walk to a beach that wasn't very nice. 20 minutes in a tuk tuk to everywhere else.
Had to wait a long time for any dishes in the restaurant even though there were no other guests there.
Not many choices at breakfast. Most things had been left out for a long time so were overcooked and dry.

Top quality experience at a great price, 10 minutes from Airport. Fabulous grounds and pool.
Pros:

It's almost to the end of Ponce De Leon Road (turn at the Shell station!). The road is chaotic often, but the hotel is fabulous. It looks like it does in the pictures. Quiet, beautiful Buddhist inspired theme, very tropical and well maintained. Great pool with bar. I've stayed at dozens of hotels in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, etc., and reviewed them, this one it the best so far. I stayed in one of the single rooms by the pool, but there are a number of villas, each with their own small pool. Great breakfast included, a nice restaurant too. Great value for the money. You will want a rental car or scooter. Make sure they switch on the water heater.

Cons:

No improvements could be had.

We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
Pros:

The staff was amazing and so kind. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond.

Cons:

The WiFi was pretty bad. It went in and out most of the time. Besides that it was a wonderful experience.

Great place but with greater potential
Pros:

Great little resort with a nice style and good vibe. Having said that I feel it is has so much more potential if only the maintenance of the premises would be taken care of more. It is relatively new and there already evident signs of wear and tear and they should be addressed. The communal gardens are very nice and lush, but for example the inside gardens in the private villas are not kept to a standard and looked like almost forgotten, with the outside chilling area full of dust and ants, which should not be the case. Poolside rooms are fine if only a little small, but mainly the bathroom as well although nice a spacious, I feel need some maintenance and the that walk in shower just floods everywhere. Lastly on this topic, the green fake grass next to the pool is not exactly what you would expect, ugly, but mainly it is worn and of poor quality so when walking on it especially with wet feet, it sticks to your feet and you end up taking the grass with you in the room.

All in all, it's a very nice place at a relatively affordable price, yet not cheap, but with adequate maintenance and a few improvements it could be a gem, and I suppose command higher prices
