샤워부스및 세면대 배수가 잘 안되었고 샤워기는 고정이 잘안되어서 위치조정을 수시로 해줘야 했으며 툭히 복도에서 사람들 말소리가 울려서 잘 들리고 새벽에 캐리어 바굴러가는 소리와 복더에 울려퍼지는 큰목소리에 놀라서 빈번히 잠에서 깼습니다.
I think the staff did their best but the hotel needs an upgrade
We had a very disappointing experience at Dolphin Bay Resort Panglao.
Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to inform them that I am highly allergic to dust and mold and kindly asked if they could properly sanitize the room. They responded that my safety was their priority, which reassured me.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room clearly had visible mold — both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. This was extremely concerning given my prior message. We immediately requested another room. The second room was slightly better, but still had mold and what felt like dust mites in the air. It was not suitable for someone with severe allergies.
For the sake of my health, I was forced to sleep on the balcony to avoid a severe allergic reaction. By the third day of our stay, my allergies flared up badly anyway. We had no choice but to cut our stay in Panglao short and return to Manila earlier than planned, as all the better hotels in the area were fully booked.
Changing our flights cost us a significant amount of money. We paid for six nights but were only able to stay for three. The hotel informed us they could not provide a refund because we booked through Booking. However, it felt like there was no real effort to find a solution or show flexibility given the circumstances.
This situation had a serious impact on both our health and finances. I hope this honest review helps future guests — especially those with allergies — make an informed decision.
The room was quite large clean and well equipped. There wasn’t a restful communal area. The dining/breakfast area was as close as it got. The pool was nice however there were only about 6 beds to relax on.
The hotel was not a place to relax, except in your room. The food was essentially Filipine / Korean with no compromise. It looked as though the hotel was close to a beach but it was inaccessible. You had to take an hourly shuttle to the end of the main beach car park or a tuk tuk.

Make up of rooms was very poor. Some days the rooms were not cleaned or restocked. Toilets kept blocking up.

Расположение далеко от моря, ну т.е оно как бы есть, но там парковка и хижины местных, до нормального пляжа идти 15 минут. Отель большой, 2 корпуса, но по факту заселено только 2 этажа. Вай фай слабый. Нет ножного полотенца. Курить нельзя нигде, только за отелем. Скудный мыльно-рыльный и чайный набор. Воду дают в кувшинах. Нет халатов, тапочки резиновые многоразовые. Плохо моют пол, все время песок. Рядом нет магазинов и кафе.

Personalen var väldigt trevliga. Toaletten lite trång och ingen duschdörr så mycket vatten hamnade utanför. Avloppet i duschen var nästan tätt så det tog lång tid att rinna undan. Men annars helt okej.
Okay properly! Probably only time I will come to Bohol. Near by Alona Beach was dirty with wild dogs. The road and walk up to the beach leave something to be desired.
Fortunately, on the 2nd day our tier guide showed us better places.

Hotel was new.
Hotel was nice at first, on booking.com it had a very good rate. But once we checked into the hotel there was additional fees for another person per room. When there was no mention of this online at all. Normally a hotel room should be able to accommodate a total of four people, but when you use the 0.5 view on your photos, it makes the bed look a lot bigger than it is. The standard rooms could only accommodate TWO people. Resulting from in us needing to request a roll out bed. Which is usually free. However this place required that we pay an additional 1200 pesos per head AND an additional 1200 pesos per roll out bed. Which is absurd. There needs to be more mention of additional fees that may be there!!!!!!
