Charmantes Hotel in etwas ruhigerer Lage
Pros:

Etwas ausserhalb vom Getümmel an einer etwas ruhigeren Strasse. Man trifft hier nicht viele europäische Touristen, was uns aber nicht störte.
Das Personal ist sehr bemüht. Die Meeres- und Leuchtturm Deko überall fanden wir cool - hat einfach Charm. Zimmer sind zwar klein aber sehr gut eingerichtet mit sehr vielen Ablageflächen etc. Betten sind bequem.
Frühstpck ist ok und für 100 Pesos Aufpreis pro Frühstück, gibt es Pancakes, Eier, Speck.
Wasserspender vorhanden.
Touren können im Hotel gebucht werden (teuer aber hochwertig - unsere Apo Island Tour war super). Mit einem Mietauto haben wir Wasserfälle und die Twin Lakes erkundet - sehr zu emofehlen.
Kleiner Rooftop-Pool war für eine Abkühlung ok.
Wlan ist schnell und stabil.

Cons:

Lange Wartezeit beim Frühstück oder bei sonstigen Essensbestellung. Aber Speisen sind gut.

Gutes Angebot für wenig Geld
Pros:

Das Hotel ist relativ günstig an einer Ausfallstraße gelegen. Man wird für wenig Geld in die Stadt gefahren (Tricycle ca. 30 Pesos).
Das Hotel ist übersichtlich, klein und persönlich. Das Frühstück im Obergeschoss ist gut, zumal im Preis enthalten. Im Dachgeschoss befindet sich ein kleiner Pool.
Wir haben Dumaguete nur als Zwischenstation zwischen Flug von Manila und Fähre nach Sequijor für einen Tag genutzt. Der baywalk ist aber unbedingt zu empfehlen und steht demjenigen in Puerto Princesa in nichts nach.

Cons:

Wir waren sehr zufrieden: Das Hotel ist zwar einfach, aber es ist alles da.

If you fancy a location with less noise and tourists, but still near the city centre, then this is the perfect location. Plenty of restaurants nearby
