Incredible stay in the middle of Colombo

All the staff are amazing would definitely stay again!
Pros:

The location is very central and easy to get around town. Also off the main road so quiet.

Still some construction work going on, but didn’t disturb me at all.

One of my favorite hotel in Colombo
Pros:

-Staffใจดีมาก รับฝากกระเป๋าก่อนCheck in-หลังCheck outให้ แม้ว่าเราจะมีไฟลต์บินดึก แต่Staffก็เสนอให้ใช้ห้องน้ำและสระว่ายน้ำได้ก่อนไปสนามบินด้วย รวมถึงให้ยืมไดร์เป่าผมและpool towelอีก หาโรงแรมที่ใจกว้างได้แบบนี้ยากมาก ช่วยเรารีเฟรชจากความร้อนของโคลอมโบได้ดีที่สุด ขอบคุณมากๆ นี่เป็นเหตุผลหลักที่เราจองที่นี่
-ห้องใหญ่มาก และน่าจะกันเสียงเพราะเงียบมาก, มีโซฟาเบด TVดูYoutubeได้ มีสบู่,ยาสระผม,Body lotion,ห้องของเราไม่มีไดร์เป่าผมในห้องแต่ขอจากFrontได้
-รอบๆมีร้านอาหารและคาเฟ่ดีๆที่สามารถเดินไปได้ รวมถึงไปเดินดูทะเลได้
-สระว่ายน้ำอยู่บนดาดฟ้า เห็นทะเลได้ เวลาอากาศร้อนๆได้ลงสระมันดีที่สุด!! ดูSunsetได้จากสระด้วย (สระเปิด7am-7pm)

Cons:

-Concept โรงแรมเป็นแบบเปิดโล่งรับลมทะเล ทำให้ไม่มีแอร์ตรงFront lobby ตอนรอCheck inอาจจะร้อนไปหน่อย และทำให้มีแมลงวันเข้ามามาก
-ในห้องเรามีBath towel 2 ,hair towel 1(ทำไมนะ?), pool towel 2 แต่ไม่มีผ้าเช็ดเท้า เราคาดว่าพนักงานทำห้องอาจจะลืม แต่เนื่องจากเราถึงห้องดึก เราเลยไม่ได้ขอ
-Pillow sheet มีกลิ่นเหม็น คาดว่าคงซักแล้วยังไม่แห้งดี เราแก้ปัญหาด้วยการไม่นอนหมอนที่มีกลิ่นเหม็นนั้น😂 แต่พนักงานตอนทำเตียง ก็น่าจะรู้สึกได้นะ
-ประตูห้องน้ำเป็นกระจกและจะเบลอแค่บางส่วน สามารถเห็นช่วงขาของคุณได้เวลาคุณใช้ห้องน้ำหรืออาบน้ำ ถ้าคุณไปกับเพื่อนก็อาจจะรู้สึกเขินๆหน่อย
-Shower system มีหลายหัว เข้าใจยากนิดหน่อยเวลาต้องการปรับ

Pros:

Excellent location, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

There was a bright blue light on the ac in the bedroom. All night our room was bathed in pale blue light. Easily appeased with eye masks, which we luckily had.

Ok stay at Taprobane House
Pros:

The room was very spacious, pool area nice, and staff friendly.

Cons:

The air conditioning in both rooms didn’t work until around 8pm, which meant the rooms were boiling. The shower drains in both rooms were not draining. Also food prices listed on the in-room menu did not match what we were actually charged.

Cons:

Staff are really helpful and flexible for meeting guest's request..We arrived 2am and as soon as my car stopped in front of the place, Staff opened the door and welcomed us then took us the room straight away.
Our luggage didn't arrive and we had to wait for the luggage to be delivered. They allowed us to extend our room and managed to wait for it.

The location was great. Close to the train station. We saw a beautiful sunset from the train which we used to go to the city centre for dinner. Lots of nice cafes for breakfast are walking distance.

Room was so clean and beautiful as a picture. Bed was comfortable. Swimming pool was great fory kids.

We love to stay there again!!

Pros:

La chambre était magnifique, spacieuse et confortable. C’était très agréable de pouvoir profiter de la piscine du rooftop en fin de journée et les plats que nous avons choisis au restaurant du rez-de-chaussée étaient délicieux.
