Delightful staff, great rooms, perfect location
Pros:

I love Sofia Colombo because the staff are amazing, once seen you are never forgotten. They always go above and beyond. The hotel’s location is perfect for my needs. Every time I’m in Colombo the Sofia is my choice

The Hotel with Friendly Staff, comfort and sea views

This was our second consecutive year staying at Sofia Hotel, and once again, we had such a wonderful experience. The warm hospitality, attentive service, and genuine care from the team are exactly what keep bringing us back every year.

A very special thank you to Dinithi from front office, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for our arrival. From ensuring our room was prepared to arranging such a beautiful room for our stay, Dinithi made us feel incredibly welcomed and helped make our visit even more special. We truly appreciate you and your kindness!

Our sincere thanks also go to Kavisha and Minura from the Front Office, for their kindness, attentiveness, and assistance throughout our stay. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Nilanka, the Front Office Manager, for helping us schedule late check out in time with our flight.

We would also like to give our heartfelt appreciation to the Housekeeping team, Dinusha, the Housekeeping Supervisor, especially Dunal and Vimukthi, for taking such great care of our room and ensuring that everything was well maintained throughout our two-week stay. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it certainly made a big difference to our overall experience. Thank you for your dedication and attention to detail.

Another highlight of this visit was the buffet. We were genuinely impressed by the variety and quality of the food this time around. The spread was delicious, and we could really see the improvements that have been made to the buffet service since our previous visit. We truly enjoyed our meals and were very happy to see how much the experience has grown.

Overall, thank you to the entire Sofia Hotel team for making our two-week stay so cheerful, comfortable, and memorable. It is the wonderful hospitality and the people who take such genuine care of their guests that make us want to return.
