We just stayed 2 nights in this hotel…. Unfortunately. The pictures are far from reality. Everything needs refurbishment the rooms, the swimming pool. The restaurant is a no go zone. The rooms were dirty, bedsheets too small for the bed and mattresses hard as a stone.
The only good thing is the location just in front of the dune but the view of the rooms are obstructed by rubbish and refurbishment materials.
The staff is really kind probably because they feel sorry for guests.
DON’T STAY THERE.

Kashba am Rand der Wüste - eher für große Reisegruppen geeignet

Geräumiges Apartment mit Bad; Bett groß und bequem.
Hiermit endet die positive Bewertung!

Cons:

Wir hatte eine Suite gebucht, da diese (angeblich) die einzige Option für ein gr. Doppelbett war.
Die Räumlichkeiten waren nüchtern, spartanisch kalt-weiß beleuchtet neben einer Baustelle inkl. -lärm und -aussicht.
Türen dünn und aus billigen Materialien; es zog durch den Türrahmen und man konnte jedes Geräusch von außen wahrnehmen. Um unser Appt. herum voll besetzte Mehrbettzimmer. Hausflur dreckig.

Die Kashba ist ungepflegt und wirkte auf uns ziemlich heruntergekommen.
Viel Sperrmüll und Gerümpel an den Wegen zu den Schlafgelegenheiten.
Terrasse und Pool luden ebenfalls nicht zum Verweilen ein.
Von der Klassifizierung würden wir es als 2* Youth-Hostel einstufen.

Im Verlaufe des Nachmittags erreichten nach-und-nach 7 (sieben!) Reisebusse mit Teenager-Gruppen den Innenhof.
Einige wurden in die Wüstencamps verbracht, der Rest auf die zahlreichen (3er- bis 6er-Zimmer) verteilt.
Es war voll, es war laut, die Nacht war nur mit Ohrenstöpsel zu ertragen.
Frühstücken in der "Hostelkantine" war fast nicht möglich.
Bestimmt ist es dort nicht immer so extrem voll, aber das Risiko dafür besteht.
Wir hätten es sehr begrüßt, von der Hotelleitung vorab eine Nachricht über die Situation zu erhalten; wir wären dann in eine andere Unterkunft ausgewichen.

Magisch verblijf in de Sahara!
Pros:

Luxe kamers! En tuurlijk heb je hier en daar wat op aan te merken maar voor Marokkaanse begrippen is het top! Dichtbij de Sahara kun je niet hebben.

Cons:

Ontbijt is goed! Dinner is 3 gangen menu voor 100 dirham. Salade en nagerecht zijn goed. Hoofdgerecht mocht wel ietjes meer zijn. Wat ons betreft kleine porties. Spaghetti voor de kids was weer wel goede portie.

Tijdens het boeken is het niet duidelijk dat de twee persoons kamers niet zo luxe zijn als de deluxe kamers.

The location is very good, the desert is just at the hotel. The newly done up rooms are amazing. The food is nice with large portions, no chance of going hungry. The staff are all very helpful and welcoming.

The desert experience
Pros:

Right next to the desert (literally), this hotel offers a range of opportunities to relax, enjoy the pool and the activities on the desert

Beautiful Stay in the middle of Sahara Dunes.
Pros:

The stay is really wonderful. From the balcony you can see proper sahara dunes.You can walk to dunes in less than 5 min. The rooms are really neat and new. The swimming pool is really good. The restaurant is good and the breakfast was nice.
