Staff was amazing. I travel a lot - one of the best ever. Food was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view that made our mornings extra special. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was fresh, varied, and delicious. Thank you for a memorable experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Three night-stay half-board stay, lounging by the three massive pools (one open until 9 pm!) with our toddler who enjoyed the mini-water park. Not overcrowded at all. Themed restaurants are worth trying. The beachfront rooms are quite far from the beach - which itself isn’t much of a beach either. The sand is created from crushed shells which gets uncomfortable under the feet. The beach could use a mini-bar too and a giant canopy as the sun gets really hot on the bare beach.

Other than that, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay personal. Special Shout-outs to Hayford, Jaycin, Velen, Yakub, and Mohsin for the super hospitality! Definitely visiting again.

Fantastic location and excellent service and ammenities. Busy weekend with public holiday but didn’t feel too crowded. No queues for meals which was fantastic. Only downside was the lack of flexibility with booking a last minute seat at Waka bar to view the sunset over a cold drink. Tables were all booked out, but not actually used until well after the sun went down. Get in early and book a table if this is on your list to do.

The staff make this place incredible. They are so good with children and all seem very happy to be there. The hotel is new and the rooms really well appointed.

We had an glorious 4 day stay over the National Holiday. Food was great and the pool was awesome!
There were a couple of issues but they were resolved quickly by the staff.

I recently stayed at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort for the New Year, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even during one of the busiest times of the year.

A special shoutout to Princess, Katrina, and the pool bar staff—their exceptional service truly made our stay memorable. Despite the holiday rush, they handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and a warm smile.

The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the pools were undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Even with so many guests, finding a poolside seat or getting a cold drink delivered was never an issue. The staff was always attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind with great service, a stunning location, and the best poolside experience, I highly recommend Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. Can’t wait to return!

Beaucoup d enfants pas de séparation au petit déjeuner donc queue pour entrer et pleurs perpétuels avec en cadeau un changement de couche sur la table
La piscine est superbe malheureusement ouverte aux gens de l extérieur et cela ressemble beaucoup à une piscine municipale bruyante … de plus la plage est superbe et très large mais ils collent les transats tous à 50 cm donc si vous recherchez le calme et la sérénité ce n est pas l endroit idéal par contre c’est Disney pour les enfants

Good stay but food quality is not great and options are limited. We also felt they are understaffed

Great resort. Nice scale, not too large and busy. Pools were awesome, and easy access to beach. Food was good but a bit too pricey. Service at the restaurants wasn't great, friendly but slow.
