Это была наша первая поездка на Шри-Ланку, и отель мы выбирали исключительно по отзывам. Такая высокая оценка у Dormero сначала даже казалась нереальной. Но уже в первый день мы поняли, почему люди пишут о нём с такой теплотой.

Отель невероятно красивый! За две недели мы много гуляли по Хиккадуве и так и не увидели ничего даже близко похожего по атмосфере, стилю и уровню эстетики. Всё оформлено очень изысканно и со вкусом: интерьер, территория, детали, освещение — чувствуется, что здесь продумано абсолютно всё. Очень уютное, камерное и атмосферное место всего на 11 номеров, где временами казалось, что весь отель только для тебя.

С первых минут нас встретили вкусными напитками и бесплатно повысили категорию номера, 🥹 предоставив более просторный вариант с собственной террасой и потрясающим видом на океан и серферов.🫠 Территория идеально чистая и ухоженная: лежаки у бассейна ежедневно подготавливают, всё постоянно убирают, полотенца меняют, вокруг ощущение абсолютного комфорта и спокойствия. Бассейн — безупречно чистый и очень красивый. Из-за сильных волн в океане мы часто отдыхали именно там, и это было отдельным удовольствием. При этом шум океана слышен постоянно, создавая невероятную атмосферу отдыха и уединения.

Отдельно хочется сказать о сервисе. За все наши путешествия по разным странам мы никогда не сталкивались с настолько искренним отношением к гостям. Любые просьбы выполнялись буквально за минуты. 🫡 Если чего-то не хватало — это сразу приносили. Номер ежедневно убирали, а вечером оставляли вкусный комплимент.

Но жемчужина этого места — управляющая Франциска.🥰 Во многом именно благодаря ей отель становится не просто красивым местом для отдыха, а местом, в которое хочется возвращаться снова и снова. Она встречает гостей так тепло, будто вы приехали к очень близким друзьям или домой после долгой дороги. Всегда улыбается, всегда на связи, всегда искренне вовлечена в то, чтобы каждому гостю было по-настоящему хорошо.

I stayed in a non sea view room and honestly – it was superrrr! 😍
The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Even without the sea view, it felt really cozy and relaxing.

A special thank you to Franzi and Sanuka, who made the stay even better with their friendliness and great service. They really made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

Also, the food was delicious – fresh, tasty and with a great variety every day. 🍽️

The whole hotel has a great vibe, everything was well organized, and I really enjoyed my time here.

I would definitely come back again – sea view or not! 🙌

We seldom or almost never go to the same hotels on our travels, BUT there is one exeption; your looking at it ;)
...we have been their guest about 4 times now, each time they go above and beyond to welcome us and to make our stay as good as possible.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach rundum perfekt! Das Hotel ist wunderschön gestaltet, sehr gepflegt und strahlt eine unglaublich entspannte Atmosphäre aus. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt.

Das gesamte Team ist super herzlich, aufmerksam und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch mit einem Lächeln. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die persönliche Betreuung – man merkt wirklich, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird.

Ein absolutes Highlight war das Neujahrsevent! Als Gäste konnten wir daran teilnehmen, was wir total besonders und einfach richtig cool fanden. Es war eine wunderschöne Erfahrung, die lokale Kultur so nah mitzuerleben – mit leckerem Essen, traditionellen Elementen und einer tollen Stimmung.

Auch das Frühstück war jeden Tag hervorragend – frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe angerichtet.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Everything feels thoughtfully put together – from the cozy and stylish rooms to the peaceful surroundings that make it so easy to relax and unwind. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you can fully enjoy the moment.

What made our stay especially memorable were Franzi and Sanuka. Their kindness, positive energy, and genuine hospitality created such a welcoming environment. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for, which makes a huge difference.

The overall experience felt very personal and authentic, not like a typical hotel stay at all.

Ein wirklich besonderer Ort, an den man sofort sein Herz verliert. Schon beim Ankommen spürt man diese entspannte, warme Atmosphäre, die sich durch den gesamten Aufenthalt zieht. ☺️

Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bieten sehr viel Komfort. Der Außenbereich ist perfekt, um einfach mal abzuschalten vom Alltag und die Ruhe zu genießen.

Was diesen Ort aber wirklich ausmacht, sind die Menschen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Franzi und Sanuka – ihre Herzlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und ihr Engagement machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast, sondern fast wie bei Freunden.

Auch kulinarisch wird man hier verwöhnt – alles ist frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. ☺️

Все просто отлично. Классные завтраки и остальная еда в ресторане, виды на серф-спот, все очень доброжелательны.
Чувствовал себя нашей большой семьей как дома. Лучший отель в нашем путешествии.
Франциско очень тепло встретила, нет вопроса, с которым не помогут.

Everything! The pool, the view, the staff and the amazing breakfast.

Ein rundum schönes Hotel! Schöne Zimmer, sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, leckeres Frühstück, guter Kaffee und so Kleinigkeiten wie ein Betthupferl beim Turn-down-Service machen den tollen Unterschied. Die Hotelmanagerin Franziska und ihr Team haben jegliches Lob verdient. Und die Hundechefin Kikky und ihr Nachbarskumpel sorgt für die Sicherheit :-)

Baden ist übrigens ein paar Meter links und rechts vom Hotel gut möglich, wobei Baden per se bei dem Wellengang eher ein Spaß mit den Wellen ist :-)
